The Welsh cyclist who I saw win a medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the raising of the Welsh flag will be there- Emma Finucaine, one of the fastest women in the world on a cycle.

Tonight at the Games is truly shit! First time I've watched it tonight as usually watch most of the coverage during the day but been out today. Doesn't cover any event properly - kept cutting to the crowd and some reporter during the gymnastics & Laura Kenny at the rowing focusing in Helen Glover's family & not the race itself. So annoying!

Is there anywhere on the BBC iPlayer or YouTube I can watch the pommel horse guy everyone is talking about? I can’t find it anywhere. Is it to do with screening rights, and if so will it be publicly available in the future?

The athletics is finally underway! It’s always a long week until it starts! Some good chances of medals on the track at least!

Watching the diving. A few times this week I have been surprised at the high scores by some of the Chinese divers. But I'm no expert so assume it's me being wrong about the scoring. This morning however I have noticed the BBC commentators talking about the scores for the Chinese pair being surprisingly high.

They do seem to be a league above everyone else in diving though.
