Voted for Mary Earps Grin

She got some some horrible posts on twitter after the Everton match from so called fans who didn't get an autograph. Many people stood up for her but the entitlement of some is breathtaking.

Most of the WSL players go to a lot of trouble with the fans but complaining about players and autographs seems to have got more common in the WSL. As somebody said, where does it specify the time for autographs on the match ticket?

I can't find where to vote! If I ever work it out I will be voting for Bonmati whose year has been stellar plus she has had all the Rubiales/Vilda stuff to deal with - deserves a medal just for surviving that.

I think there's a separate link if you are voting via the app. I can't test it as I've already voted - I do love Mary Earps. Alexandra Popp has won everything. She is fantastic but I'd like someone else to win.

I see Rubiales still feels hard done by. Unbelievable.

DuncinToffee · 31/10/2023 11:50

His entitlement is quite something.

Yesterday's Ballon d'Or for women was a shambles as well, firstly the timing during international matches and then there only being 1 award and it was presented by a tennis player who is against equal pay.

Yes, it did come across as a shambles. All they seemed to want was for Messi to win the men's award again.

Which there is no way he should have won.......

How they could possibly pick him, over Haaland, with the season he had, is beyond belief. I'm in no way a Man City fan, but the man has been a machine, in a team that has been triumphant.

Unlike FIFA to do the right thing Hmm

Although, it is once again suggesting that 'the kiss' was the whole problem, when it should have been the catalyst to a big investigation about the whole culture and treatment of all involved.

UsingChangeofName · 31/10/2023 19:41

Anyway. Who's watching tonight ?

Not the start we were looking for.....

UsingChangeofName · 31/10/2023 19:56

Ouch.
That looks horrific Sad

DuncinToffee · 31/10/2023 19:59

Bit sloppy, that …. did not enjoy seeing neither Millie Bright nor Jess Carter being able to deal with Wullaert for her brilliant goal. Did very much enjoy seeing Fran Kirby get a brilliant goal of her own, though.

Olympics not looking likely ….

Just looked at the Leicester Arsenal result. Leicester were leading at half time. Another dramatic late kick off game!
