....tapeworm or anything horrendous please!

Have had slightly infected stitches from episiotomy (two weeks ago) and fanjo has been v sore. Was on antibiotics for a week which cleared things up but yesterday (couple of days after finishing tablets) I had more bleeding, soreness and this critter thing when I wiped.

I could have sworn it moved when I first saw it but that might have been my sleep deprived mind getting all freaked out.

Please put my mind at rest!

They're frayed. Definitely stitches.
I hereby declare your arse a worm free zone. May god bless her and all who sit on her.

Tiggeryoubastard · 14/09/2016 11:45

(Shhh. Don't tell op but who here is secretly praying for her to get a really good boil with the quality of her pics?)

Lweji · 14/09/2016 11:46

Thanks for the message.

Those are threads (not worms). You can relax.

Love the microscope pictures, though. Grin

PikachuSayBoo · 14/09/2016 11:48

#teamstitch.

Lweji · 14/09/2016 11:51

I forgot the .

And my colleague has seen the pictures and agrees with me.

FannyFifer · 14/09/2016 11:52

Lweji has spoken, cancel that GP appointment your arse is not a wormery.
I'm a wee bit disappointed though.

ItsJustPaint · 14/09/2016 11:55

Nothing more to see folks....

Lweji has spoken...

As you were....

MewlingQuim · 14/09/2016 11:57

Stitch.

Too much of a coincidence for two worms to have knotted themselves. It doesn't look right for a worm under the microscope either.

Lweji · 14/09/2016 11:59

Hmm...

feeling like the ultimate thread killer.

Have some Cake and Wine for going as far as a using a microscope.

It's a fantastic thread. It should be nominated for classics. Particularly as we do have a definitive conclusion (unlike some pay attention Joffrey )

HanarCantWearSweaters · 14/09/2016 11:59

Thanks Lweji! Now we know.

I'm disappointed though. Sad

Lweji · 14/09/2016 12:11

Me too. I'd love to see a real worm on a thread. drops mike

Swannykazoo · 14/09/2016 12:17

Dissolving sutures are usually white to go pinky when they;re in. Its only the removing ones (nylon type) are blue so na na na to that GP!

GoofyIsACow · 14/09/2016 12:24

This thread is amazing! OP you beautiful human!

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 12:28

All hail Lewji and Lewji's colleague with their top notch non-worm identification expertise. If you ever need a reference guys, then let me know... Grin Thank you for putting my mind at rest for now!

Whilst I'm rather relieved it seems that there is no arse wormery after all, yoga, suicidal or otherwise, I shall still keep a beady eye out for anything which looks even slightly suspect. You, dearest spornees, will of course be the first to know about it. (DDs microscope will never have had so much use).

Not wanting to waste NHS time with this at the GPs for today at least I've cancelled the appointment for this afternoon. For the time being, I'll hold off being labelled by the receptionists the 'suicidal bum worm lady'. I will nonetheless keep the little sample pot with its little inhabitant, just in case it's joined in a few days by a friend...

Thank you to you all for making sure that what could have been a gruesomely horrendous experience became a hilarious and semi public gruesome experience. After this, I can heartily confirm that it's always better to share. GrinGrin

Mwah and much Wineand Cake to you all xxx

This thread has had me in stitches Grin (sorry)

DrLizAsher · 14/09/2016 12:55

Were you induced OP?

I was and 3 weeks after giving birth to DS2 I pulled out a huge long piece of dried up worm/wire from next to my cervix Shock. Turned out to be the string from the induction pessary which had been left inside me somehow. Might this be similar?

Either way I feel you post-birth-foreign-object-horror pain Flowers

peaceloveandbiscuits · 14/09/2016 13:40

I was #teamworm at the first picture but definitely #teamstitch by the second. Glad Lweji has banged the gavel in my favour Smile

YoureaFlutteringCunt · 14/09/2016 13:47

I thoroughly enjoyed this thread.

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 14:19

Hi DrLiz - I was induced but had waters broken and then the drip, so there should have been no stringy remains.

I must just say what a pleasure it's been investigating this little episode Grin Lovely to make all these new sporny friends!
