....tapeworm or anything horrendous please!

Have had slightly infected stitches from episiotomy (two weeks ago) and fanjo has been v sore. Was on antibiotics for a week which cleared things up but yesterday (couple of days after finishing tablets) I had more bleeding, soreness and this critter thing when I wiped.

I could have sworn it moved when I first saw it but that might have been my sleep deprived mind getting all freaked out.

Please put my mind at rest!

Basically all the emojis.

They don't look like worms to me. I've never seen a worm with square edges like the first one has.

Have you tried cutting a bit in half? A worm will have a very different internal texture to a stitch.

#teamstitch

ItsJustPaint · 14/09/2016 10:28

So how many of these arse worms are you shredding ?

Lweji is on the thread already ( whoever mentioned her so hopefully she will be popping by in due course )

PotOfYoghurt · 14/09/2016 10:29

When are you going to the GP huh? Huh?

MargotLovedTom · 14/09/2016 10:29

Why the hell would they both be knotted though? They're either suicidal as pp said, or you're breeding a colony of yoga afficionado wrigglies up there. You might get a tiny mat come out next Wink.

DianaMitford · 14/09/2016 10:31

a tiny mat - I am CRYING

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 10:31

Sorry Fanny - no beansprouts or string or rubber bands or anything recently.

The most recent one is now all dried out and crumbly. I need to get DD's microscope out later and have a look myself before its hacked up and quarantined by the doctors.

I'm glad to be able to provide so much entertainment to you all. Public service; gift that keeps giving and all that!

Will don goggles, head off for microscope and report back forthwith.

But surely if they were into yoga they'd be all chilled out and tangled, rather than suicidal and tangled?

But they're trying moves that are too advanced, and literally tying themselves in knots. RIP yoga worms Sad.

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 10:35

GP won't see me until this afternoon. Apparently suicidal yoga bum worms aren't today's priority. I so need to find another critter and prove them wrong.

Forgot to say your pictures are awesome Smile

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 10:36

Ah - beginner yoga arse worms then. Bit like me when I can be bothered to do exercise: think I can do more than I actually can and then need rescuing.

They look like my stitches. As a PP said, the tapering is from them dissolving. So I vote stitches.

WalrusGumboot · 14/09/2016 10:56

LOL @ #teamstitch

GlassCircles · 14/09/2016 11:06

Having been on #teamworm for the whole thread, I'm now defecting to #teamstitch having seen this diagram :

GlassCircles · 14/09/2016 11:07

I found it by google imaging 'dissolving sutures' btw

Fairybella · 14/09/2016 11:07

All hail the lady with a worm kingdom up her bum 👸🏼

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 11:13

Ok #teamworm and #teamstitch, here are some microscope pictures for you. Bloody fiddly, I have to say, trying to get the iPhone to focus, but there you go.

I think I'm #teamstitch having seen these but there are some quite hairy looking bits in there. I didn't see any eyes, claws or teeth or even mini yoga mats but maybe my zoom wasn't good enough.

So what's the verdict? More gripping than the Archers trial, this. Grin

Hmmm looks stitchy

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 11:16

Glasscircles cheers for the great diagrams! I think that's almost the shape of today's one, so for now I'm #teamstitch. Maybe the first one just plopped out rather than had its leg cut, iyswim, which is why the loop but was still intact.

VioletBam · 14/09/2016 11:21

Have you been yet OP?

GlassCircles · 14/09/2016 11:22

You're welcome MrsBlimey, I hope they bring you some comfort that your arse may not after all be a worm hotel :D

Maybe the infection messed with the healing, so the loopy stiches fell out prematurely? Doesn't explain why they aren't blue though - maybe the blue dye is a bit rubbish and faded away?

FannyFifer · 14/09/2016 11:42

Microscope pics as well, so impressed with the commitment to up the ante for your fellow sporners.

First pic I was pretty sure it was wormy, second pic & the microscope pics I'm now #teamstitch
