....tapeworm or anything horrendous please!

Have had slightly infected stitches from episiotomy (two weeks ago) and fanjo has been v sore. Was on antibiotics for a week which cleared things up but yesterday (couple of days after finishing tablets) I had more bleeding, soreness and this critter thing when I wiped.

I could have sworn it moved when I first saw it but that might have been my sleep deprived mind getting all freaked out.

Please put my mind at rest!

Going against the tide here, I vote stitch, the squidgyness and tapered ends and thickness can all be explained by them being soluble stitches. They absorb moisture and slowly soften and dissolved meaning you don't have to have them removed. I had them for my Fanjo stitches. ........

Good news is if they're coming out and the wound looks fine I'd say you're on the mend.....

parisgellar · 14/09/2016 09:09

I'd vote stitch too tbh! Where would you have picked up worms?!

Coldhandscoldheart · 14/09/2016 09:11

That's what my stitch looked like! Except without the knot.
I'm voting stitch.

motheroreily · 14/09/2016 09:14

Thank you for sharing.

Amazing! Smile

MrsBlimey · 14/09/2016 09:15

Have just been reminded that the doctor who stitched me up said that the sutures were blue so that if they floated out in the bath or whatever, I'd know what they were.

Bit like having a blue plaster on your hand on GBBO I suppose.

Confused

I am lost for words

Poor you OP

Chickydoo · 14/09/2016 09:38

Oh keep us posted op...... Gruesomely intrigued

Tiggeryoubastard · 14/09/2016 09:42

They are both knotted. That proves its worms. Suicidal ones. Why else would they knot themselves up and jump out?
Nah. Deffo stitches.

IAmAPaleontologist · 14/09/2016 09:46

Oh how exciting!

For us. Less so for you.

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 14/09/2016 09:47

Could internal fanjo stitches have migrated through to bum cavity and that's why they are coming out of bum?

Cockblocktopus · 14/09/2016 09:49

I don't think I've ever clicked on a zoomed in pic of someone's arse worm before.

Confused

#wtfmn

hownottofuckup · 14/09/2016 09:56

I can't believe I've been avidly studying those pics Confused think I've lost the plot.

Shock
UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 14/09/2016 10:10

Shock Weird how they're both sort of knotted in the same way though. Do round worms knot themselves up? Confused

FannyFifer · 14/09/2016 10:11

You've not eaten bean sprouts recently have you?

FannyFifer · 14/09/2016 10:14
