Finding the time to look good and keep your wardrobe fresh can be tricky at the best of times, never mind when you’ve got your hands full with the various obstacles that life throws at you. Whether you’re trawling the high street or searching online, acquiring the right outfit for the right occasion can be a mission - and not always a successful one at that. With that in mind, Stitch Fix want to hear your tips and tricks for staying stylish when you’re pressured for time.

Here’s what Stitch Fix have to say:
"Stitch Fix takes the hard work out of shopping so that you can get back to what really matters, without sacrificing on style. After filling in a short online questionnaire, a Stylist hand-selects, just for you, pieces from the best established and emerging European brands. The selection is delivered straight to your door. Keep what works, return what doesn’t, simple as that!”

Do you have certain accessories you use to freshen up an outfit and make it look ‘new’? Or do you make a dash for the shops when you have a couple of hours free and hope for the best? Maybe you have a few key friends or relatives you can borrow clothes from at times of great need?

However you manage to stay stylish with limited time, post on the thread below and everyone who does will be entered into a prize draw where 1 MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

White linen shirt, jeans, a slick of lippy and I’m good to go 😀

hmariez · 07/08/2019 20:07

I have no tips, since I’ve had children I am a total mess

sheilads105 · 07/08/2019 20:12

Wearing a dress so you don't have to work out what goes with what - instantly stylish too. Just pick some shoes.

towser44 · 07/08/2019 20:23

Style, what's that? Ha ha!

iloveadsxx1 · 07/08/2019 20:28

Simplicity is always in style and so easy to do

I have learnt to stick to easy to wear separates on a limited colour palette and dresses. Dresses are a godsend! I have smart and casual dresses, and then the casual options are jeans with white shirts, t-shirts and perhaps a stylish jacket. To dress it up, big, bold jewellery, like a statement necklace. Good to go!

I like buying in the sales but I do not wear it that year I always wait a year or so an that way nobody else will be wearing the same, Example I bought a pair of shoe's about 4 years ago an I have wear them this year for the first time the amount of people what have asked were I have got them from is unreal, I always tell them I bought them 4 years ago knowing that they will not be able to get any. I do not like wearing whats in fashion that season I wear what I want when I want I like to change what I buy sometimes I wear it a different way by tieing the botton of a top or altering to how I want it,

Whatever is comfy and makes you feel good! and a nice scarf totally changes any outfit

PashleyB · 07/08/2019 21:23

A good haircut makes a big difference to me

kimbers85 · 07/08/2019 21:23

loose waves do just the trick when i have little time

StarlightToCasualMoths · 07/08/2019 21:28

I prefer dresses as then I don't have to match tops to bottoms.

rachelmccraith · 07/08/2019 21:30

A nice hair accessory can make it look like you've taken longer on a hairstyle than you have. Nice quality hair clips and pins are a must

helly27 · 07/08/2019 22:03

Use accessories and a bit of natural looking make up

potofdreams4 · 07/08/2019 22:20

I'm roughly the same size as my 3 sisters so we share clothes when we need to

pennwood · 07/08/2019 22:24

I keep a core wardrobe of classic well cut lines that can be dressed up or down with accessories. Good quality leather handbags that polish to look like new, and fortunately having shoulder length hair means a casual down style, or an up do to suit any situation. Make up according to style and I am ready.

Marg2k8 · 07/08/2019 22:38

Just be confident with whatever you are wearing and you will be able to carry it off.

bertie1999 · 07/08/2019 22:41

Be less afraid of colour, use accessories like watches, bracelets and pendants to bring life to a plain top

Be comfortable and happy

TweetleBeetlesBattle · 07/08/2019 23:08

I wish I knew the answer to this, I look like a bag of apples in everything I wear. Jeans, heels and a nice black top get me through most times I need to look (or feel) stylish.

katieskatie82 · 07/08/2019 23:48

you can jazz up any outfit with nice jewelry, great handbag or heels. A nice scarf is a quick way to make an outfit stylish too!

lhlee62 · 08/08/2019 00:00

Accessories as the right bag, shoes and big earrings always seems to work for me, well I hope it works!

princesssmitheee · 08/08/2019 01:22

id say use a bright bag or shoes, to add some pop to a tired outfit

danigrace · 08/08/2019 03:49

I have just given up on being bothered, when I have time to enjoy it I do and when I don't if people don't like me for my bare face they aren't the people you want to be around anyway!

frances93 · 08/08/2019 07:03

Sunglasses, dry shampoo, messy bun - are my daily essentials!
With 2 kids under 2, I find pulling off the stylish look tricky.
Skinny jeans and a nice top tend to work well for me, I try to wear a cropped jacket with them to make it look that bit more stylish.
Normally once the kids are in bed I organise clothes for us the night before, so that I dont look like ive been dragged through a field backwards in the morning!
