Finding the time to look good and keep your wardrobe fresh can be tricky at the best of times, never mind when you’ve got your hands full with the various obstacles that life throws at you. Whether you’re trawling the high street or searching online, acquiring the right outfit for the right occasion can be a mission - and not always a successful one at that. With that in mind, Stitch Fix want to hear your tips and tricks for staying stylish when you’re pressured for time.

Here’s what Stitch Fix have to say:
"Stitch Fix takes the hard work out of shopping so that you can get back to what really matters, without sacrificing on style. After filling in a short online questionnaire, a Stylist hand-selects, just for you, pieces from the best established and emerging European brands. The selection is delivered straight to your door. Keep what works, return what doesn’t, simple as that!”

Do you have certain accessories you use to freshen up an outfit and make it look ‘new’? Or do you make a dash for the shops when you have a couple of hours free and hope for the best? Maybe you have a few key friends or relatives you can borrow clothes from at times of great need?

However you manage to stay stylish with limited time, post on the thread below and everyone who does will be entered into a prize draw where 1 MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I like a long top and leggings, or jeans with a more interesting top. That way I have a basic base with something more exciting to liven it up.

It’s quick accessories for me, earrings, necklace, hairband etc, that can give a plain outfit a more polished look.

I'm not a fashion expert but feel happy in myself - good shoes are the way to look polished (or boots)

Beautiful big coatigans to wrap up in, if all else fails

I also often wear dark clothes for work, but have quite a few colourful tops and tunics from Joe Browns. They instantly lift an outfit and often get compliments from colleagues. I also like to wear simple but bold jewellery and good shoes.

I seem to have fallen out of love with the scarf, maybe its time is coming again soon

Keep it simple and stick with your favourite nice outfit. Change it up with different accessories and/or jewellery.

I think that less is more. When in a rush jeans, boots and a leather jacket with a red lipstick looks great and is easy. Some simple Jewellery can depress up any outfit xx

I have a few nice outfits for the very rare occasion I go anywhere different to usual, and can change them up with scarves and shoes. I couldn't give any tips as I've had the same clothes for years as I don't leave the house much and when I do it's always to the same places

Eyeliner - EVERYONE looks better with eyeliner, top lashline only if you're in a hurry as putting it under your eyes without full make up on can make your eyes look smaller. And coordinate your outfit, including shoes, to look effortlessly stylish.

I have a few go-to outfits that I know I'm comfy in, but that also look great. That way if I'm pushed for time, then I can decide what to wear quickly. Having things that don't need ironing is very helpful too!

I wear a lot of monochrome so everything matches everything else! I can then brighten up the look with jewellery or a scarf when I'm in a rush... which with 3 children, is always!

A good quality white shirt, some fitted skinny jeans, black flat loafers, red lipstick, and a pair of sunnies, chic and classic!

I keep my hair short and easy to style so a quick brush makes it look acceptable and have a couple of good quality outifits that are timeless.

I buy clothes from Joe Browns in the sale as they are quite interesting and classy and look a bit different. If I need to look smart I can dress them up easily with a smart jacket or coat. I'm always rushed for time with the kids, but I always put some face cream on with SPF 15 and a little bit of eyeliner before running out the door!

If you find something you really like buy another of the same.

If I don't have time to dye my hair then a root touch up sprays works wonders and immediately makes me look younger and more glam!

I tend to pick black outfits as when I'm pressed for time I don't have to try and match an outfit as everything goes with black.
