This year our goal is to buy our first home. We made lots of sacrifices in 2018 to get our savings up and we are going into 2019 doing the same. We still need to increase our savings to get the deposit we want which means I will be budgeting. An income and expenses chart will help with this which I can create in Excel and print off to stick on the fridge so we know what's coming up each month and how much we can save. I can also print out fun things to do at weekends for free which will save us money - Eg. Museums and walks

I am going to try and be a bit more patient!! I don't shout that much but I do tend to take over to get the job done quicker. My 5 Children keep reminding me to count to 10!! It's hard but I think it will be better for me and them in the long run!! Life is stressful!

I'm trying to cook new recipes more, to be healthier, to have nutritious frozen "ready" meals and to increase my repertoire. I have already started and don't need to do much to achieve it other than DO it :)

My goal is to do more batch cooking over the weekends to make life easier over the week after work and after picking up kids from the after school club and nursery.
To help me with this I have bought a Thermomix machine that it's becoming my best friend in the kitchen. I try to choose which recipes I will be cooking on Saturday morning and buy the ingredients to get ready to start cooking.
