I'm looking after my health, after a short spell in hospitasl I now realise I must look after myself

cheryl100 · 13/01/2019 16:11

After a health scare last year which made me realise that I am not invincible, I have decided that memories mean more than anything else. I aim to take days out with my hubby and son more often and for us to at least visit one place that we have never been before

becky004 · 13/01/2019 16:18

I want to lose at least 2 stone, have started a diet, and DS who is 15 is taking me to the gym every day so I stick to it.

tiddles12 · 13/01/2019 16:19

My goal is to be happier and to do that I am going to be kinder to others and more generous with my time and money

laurac1987 · 13/01/2019 16:23

My resolution is to get back onto the fitness track, start meal planning, exercising 3 times a week and cutting back on sugar, carbs and meat. My mum had a huge heart attack last year (she's only 56) and was rushed into emergency surgery. Her heart problems are hereditary, so I'm trying to do all I can to lose the extra weight and help keep my heart healthy.

iestyn500 · 13/01/2019 16:28

my resolution drink more water

JoJoY · 13/01/2019 16:30

I have practical goals. I'm going to tidy, declutter and organise every room in my house. I've already started so it's going well so far!

Positivekate · 13/01/2019 16:37

My goals for this year are to:

  1. Make more time for family time with my 3 children
  2. Stop being so hard on myself to achieve and be grateful for what we already have
  3. Enjoy more me time and rest instead of worrying that I need to fit in chores and other jobs when I have spare time
  4. Do what I plan on doing instead of just saying it. Life is too short!
  5. STAY POSITIVE! NEGATIVITY GETS YOU NOWHERE :)
Cailin7 · 13/01/2019 16:50

our goal this year is to budget and to repair and redecorate part of our home.

Rachdayan · 13/01/2019 16:53

My resolution this year is to be more mindful about how I spend my money. Do I really need that? Can I make do with what I already have? Why do I really want to buy this? I'm guilty of emotional buying and this year I've vowed to stop and think before I buy something that will only give me a quick fix and likely sit in my wardrobe unused.

AuFinch · 13/01/2019 16:58

Mine is to cut down on some of the chocolate (i dont think i could ever give it all up), and to try to grow our own food, especially tomatoes as we eat so many of them!

IonaAilidh11 · 13/01/2019 17:04

save more on food shop by batch cooking

PickyPips · 13/01/2019 17:22

My goals this year are to build my new life coaching business, earn a good income from it and start to save for a new house. I will achieve these goals by taking small realistic steps throughout the year. Exciting times ahead!

Funkyferret · 13/01/2019 17:23

I want to keep the up the levels of organisation I achieved last year. So everything goes straight in the diary when it comes up, meals are planned, to-do lists printed for the week, etc. Then I want to use the time I've freed up (because there's far less faffing and losing things!) to learn something new.

APJ1 · 13/01/2019 17:29

I want to lose a bit of weight and continue to get fitter, which I'll do by going to the gym regularly.

prwilson · 13/01/2019 17:29

My goal is to stay off insulin and reduce my blood sugar further - I will do this by eating and exercising better.

SuzCG · 13/01/2019 17:56

My goal is to be calmer and more organised with our manic daily routines - and to be honest with people and say no sometimes, instead of just trying to soak everything up & please everyone all the time!

twinklenicci · 13/01/2019 18:04

my goal is to lose some weight , by eating healthier and being more active

moosexxx · 13/01/2019 18:08

To get the house sorted out, and steal some time for myself.

Marg2k8 · 13/01/2019 18:10

I don't really make Ne Year resolutions. If I set my mind on something, I do it, regardless of the time of year.

angela121262 · 13/01/2019 18:10

My goals are to travel more abroad and in the UK. I intend to book in advance and try and take advantage of holiday, train travel and hotel deals to get more for my money and therefore more trips.

cocochips · 13/01/2019 18:31

I would like to improve my fitness and I am going to hire a personal trainer

IndianaMoleWoman · 13/01/2019 18:47

To sort out my finances. Hopefully i’ll Start by winning these vouchers!

towser44 · 13/01/2019 18:48

Run 500 miles over the year and cycle 2,000 miles. I've joined a cycling and running club to provide motivation to get out!

chrissy53438 · 13/01/2019 18:52
