NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Even safer, don't buy these idiotic capsules which look so interesting to kids.

JC4PMPLZ · 17/12/2018 23:29

5 out of 7: I think because I didn't know where to press exactly.

Muffinbutton · 17/12/2018 23:32

5 but in my defence there were multiple hazards in some

OntoTheThird · 17/12/2018 23:36

Surprisingly I got 7/7 , I have somehow managed to get two boys to age 6 and 3 so far so must be "on the ball", it's great to raise more awareness about the washing tablets being a hazard to little people!

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 17/12/2018 23:36

I think the pan and the wine glass were both hazards as the pan was really close to the edge. I’m also not sure that the open bin is more of a hazard than the truck outside in my house. Both are a hazard. —I would definitely— Someone could trip over that sort of thing when carrying a basket of washing or whatever.

So yes, 7/7 but there were some questions raised.

7 out of 7 Smile

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 18/12/2018 04:24

7 9n the last attempt.

GriseldaChop · 18/12/2018 06:38

7/7 - although I agree that the pan on the edge of the bench was as hazardous as the wine!

MimiJoy · 18/12/2018 06:38

7/7 here ... I'm very cautious, so not surprised!

Spices001 · 18/12/2018 06:51

6/7

Sleavercole123 · 18/12/2018 06:59

6 out of 7 although I did click the open bin lid but it got marked incorrect

lnesbitt81 · 18/12/2018 07:04

I got 7/7

katiebasey · 18/12/2018 07:07

7/7 for me , but could spot more than one hazard in some photos. Maybe I am over the top a bit, but like having the stool near the workservice.....eeerk

angeleyes101 · 18/12/2018 07:08

Scored low but I think I wasn't doing it right because I spotted all the hazards

Honeywort · 18/12/2018 07:15

Spotted the all but couldn’t click on some.

FrenchieMum2Be · 18/12/2018 07:27

7 out of 7 (safe as houses)... spotting the hazards is quite straightforward but keeping an active toddler away from them is altogether trickier.

Clairecricket1 · 18/12/2018 07:31

7/7 I have always made sure things are safe in our whole home.

popsocks · 18/12/2018 07:36

6/7, as i clicked on the wine glass stem so it said i was wrong and it circled the actual glass part with the wine in.

rhinosuze · 18/12/2018 07:48

5 must have clicked the wrong bits! My nephew got hold of his dad's G&T the other week so recognized the alcohol hazard straight away!

ARiverInEgypt · 18/12/2018 07:58
  1. Not tricky but an extra reminder that liquitabs are very dangerous for something so mundane that looks so innocent is never wasted.
I’m hopelessly scatterbrained and don’t always trust myself not to get distracted and leave things lying around so I simply didn’t buy liquitabs and used liquid in bottles instead until the DC were 10 or so.
cag2712 · 18/12/2018 08:07

7/7 but they were a bit too easy it's the less obvious ones that catch us all out.

MrsRix32 · 18/12/2018 08:15

7/7 but definitely think there were several hazards in some of those photos

AR2012 · 18/12/2018 08:16

7/7 fairly straight forward
