NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

7/7 common sense. These just seem to be normal household situations that we deal with all the time..!

BlooperReel · 14/01/2019 13:50

6/7, I also clicked the pan instead of the glass in the last photo, both potential hazards imo.

OrdinarySnowflake · 17/01/2019 14:36

7/7 - but agree, it's not like you had a picture of the whole room and had to spot the 7 hazzards, it's more "this one thing in the photo, click on it!"

MummyBtothree · 17/01/2019 14:38

7/7 for me.

imintenseoriminsane · 20/01/2019 16:07

6/7 but only because I clicked on the handle of the pan rather than the pan itself as I thought the main risk was the child pulling the handle and tipping the pan! Never mind not far off!

AngelwingsPetlamb · 20/01/2019 18:26

So pleased I scored 7/7

LauLau82 · 21/01/2019 19:52

6/7 is not a bad score.

mrsglowglow · 27/01/2019 22:46

5/7 but only because my phone was playing up

DickVanTyke · 31/01/2019 23:03

7/7 but I agree that the pan was also a massive hazard!

gozocat · 05/02/2019 02:04

7/7

dilydaly · 11/02/2019 16:13

7 out of 7, I'd be a bit worried if anyone scored less! :D

kb1823 · 12/02/2019 22:46

7

thanksamillion · 12/02/2019 22:58

5 but only because my phone was really slow to load the pictures! I do know that a pan on an open flame is a hazard. Honestly!

OnlyToWin · 19/02/2019 16:13

7/7 🙂

JudgeRulesNutterButter · 26/02/2019 21:55

5/7 and I’m also blaming my phone. I only realised afterwards that the concern with the wine was that they might drink it. I was thinking that of the three things which would be the most dangerous falling on their head. Neither of my two would manage to lift a glass of any liquid down and actually drink it Grin

FrowningFlamingo · 27/02/2019 18:01

7, that was easy.
We've only just had our first child and keep spotting potential hazards in our house. We've put in a high shelf to put the laundry products on already so he won't be able to get at them once he's old enough to try.

HotChocolateLover · 02/03/2019 10:37

I got six but In the first one I clicked on the pan handle because little children could pull on that and the boiling water could go on them. I have always been told that with little ones the handle should gave the back of the job. So I don’t feel too bad at not getting full marks 😂

HotChocolateLover · 02/03/2019 10:37

*face the back of the hob

Crazymoo82 · 08/03/2019 17:51

7 / 7 thought they where rather obvious hazards!!

LadyofDispleasure · 08/03/2019 19:44

5/7 but I was too slow to respond to the first one! The bin one got me though, I was looking at the truck instead

TimandGinger · 10/03/2019 21:56

I got 6- I got the final picture wrong.

MrsNutkin · 10/03/2019 22:32

7/7 👍

cheeseypuff · 11/03/2019 15:04

7 - however my children are all able to injure themselves without the help of any of these widely known hazards -it's the stuff you don't generally think about that the little darlings seem to make a beeline for. Confused
