Got the result of "sorry, we are unable to provide you with a quote"...

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 24/08/2018 14:28

I also get the result “sorry we are unable to provide you with a quote”.

This isn’t very good, is it?

Laney79 · 24/08/2018 19:53

I got £50.11 for a two week trip to the Maldives with my other half!!!

Shuggas · 24/08/2018 20:08

I can't get past page 2 once I have input all the details of travellers. All details correct it's just stuck and won't move on.

But my dream holiday is Italy with the family. I'd love to go and see the sights and taste their delicious food.

boptanana · 24/08/2018 20:08

I would love a week in a cottage in France with children’s entertainment available for a couple of hours a day, meals provided and sunny but not unbearably hot weather.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 24/08/2018 21:13

Not working for me either - though I'd go for either a trip to Barbados (just me & DH) or a family holiday to San Diego!

Headfullofdreams · 24/08/2018 21:24

£35.50 for our insurance on a dream trip to Canada! Wish I was going there!

Headfullofdreams · 24/08/2018 21:25

That's for me and the family.

QueenOfPharts · 24/08/2018 22:46

Off to Florida to do Disneyland for 2weeks would be the kids dream. I really fancy Paris just me and dh. Got a quote for Florida of £57.32 not bad, is probably the only bit of that scenario I could affordWink

Margaurette · 25/08/2018 05:29

Beach, sun, books, and very little else!

Treaclespongeandcustard · 25/08/2018 08:04

I also get the result “sorry we are unable to provide you with a quote”. I think it’s because of my pre existing condition, which is classed as ‘low risk’. Waste of time. My dream holiday has already been booked and involved little risk - book and beach in Greece. Not impressed admiral.

sjonlegs · 25/08/2018 08:21

Woah - I got £163.73 for travel to Hawaii with my whole family (3 children)!

The excessive amount is because my eldest son has profound medical and complex special needs. It trounces us every time - which is why he has only been abroad twice in his 15 years. TBH we have so much medial equipment and 'stuff' that unless we're driving and can actually fit it in (the rest of us have to travel VERY light) - then it really isn't worth our while financially because it would bankrupt us!

It seems hugely unfair that having a family member with special needs is so ridiculously expensive but c'est la vie! We will carry this financial burden for the rest of our lives.

Fortunately for us - I do have insurance through our family bank HSBC and they have been second to none ... if only we could afford an actual holiday! Ho hum

Can't quote for me online either. Pre-existing medical condition, which whilst won't kill me yet, it is terminal.

Byrdie · 25/08/2018 11:12

Erm... £227 for a trip for a family of five to America. What??????

SusanWalker · 25/08/2018 13:54

£18.48 for two weeks in Italy. Just for me as a single person. A trip to Sorrento is my dream holiday for when the kids are grown up. I especially want to see Pompeii.

chronicallyawesome · 25/08/2018 17:15

£141.12 for a 3 week trip to New England in the Fall - been my dream for some time. But I am medically complicated which is why so much for a single woman in her 30s, that works!

One day maybe... it's about what I expected to be honest.

asuwere · 25/08/2018 19:09

£35.52 for 2 weeks in Florida with 5DC, which is much less than I expected it to be!

Sierra259 · 25/08/2018 19:27

£114 pounds for a family trip to Hawaii. Except on that policy, cancellation costs only covered up to £1000, which is next to nothing for that kind of holiday! Would have to pay £179 for decent cancellation cover.

quizqueen · 25/08/2018 20:39

£29.88 quote for a single trip to Italy for one person over 60 with some recent medical history . Not bad at all, I may consider them in future.
My dream holiday would be travelling to Australia to stay in Sydney for a while then going to see Ayres Rock then flying to New Zealand to see where the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit was filmed. Rather out of my price range at the moment though!

missymousey · 25/08/2018 20:46

£37.48 for 2 weeks in Egypt over Christmas with DH and DS.
That was not quick though Admiral :-(

defineme · 25/08/2018 21:08

£28.28 for my son and I to go to the Galapagos islands for 2 weeks...super!

Thatmum · 26/08/2018 08:19

£72.40 for month in Europe for 5 of us. That doesn't include pre existing conditions though as it was such hard work putting in our dates of birth and my 'industry'- turns out option is 'none' as I'm sahp- that I couldn't face adding those details. Good price, poor delivery on a mobile.

It won't give me a quote due to medical conditions. Thankfully I have a yearly policy which is perfectly happy to cover my family of 5 and its medical needs for our wonderful dream holiday which we have booked for February to lapland.

fishnships · 26/08/2018 09:36

£99.49 for a week to Sri Lanka with DH. TBH I find that too much!

qate · 26/08/2018 16:50

£55.34 for a month in New Zealand, or £83 if we went for the platinum cover which has better benefits. Now just need to organise the dream trip!!
