NOW CLOSED

It’s inevitable that clothes sometimes end up dirty and stained, and though you may have handy tips and tricks for removing stains, there might be some that fill you with dread. Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about the stains that you’re most scared of.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We never want people to be afraid of wearing the clothes they love in case it gets stained. It’s our job to help. We want to know what are the really devilish stains that never seem to budge”.

Do you struggle with mud stains? Maybe your child wiping their hands down their clothes after eating greasy food fill you with dread? Perhaps baby poo stains are your nemesis? Or maybe it’s a spilt glass of wine that you worried may never come out?

Whatever the stains you’re most scared of, share them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Any tomato & oil based sauce, also suncream. Sweat stains around armpits.
Also, DH has craniofacial hyperhidrosis, & the pillowcases can quickly get stained, especially in hot weather like we have at the moment, or when we have the heating on.

mo3733 · 09/07/2018 12:02

tiddles12 · 09/07/2018 12:08

biro, curry, and tomato sauce

holey · 09/07/2018 12:17
  1. Curry. More with my husband than the kids.
  2. Ketchup/bolognese sauce (especially on white school polo shirts).
  3. Ink. Some ink comes out with hairspray and some doesn't seem to, however hard I try.

Well it used to be poo, blackcurrant, pasta sauce.......(all of which are washed and then hung in full sunshine to detoriate - the sun gets rid of loads of stains).... but now we have moved on... the pasta sauce is no longer slopped about and drinks dont get spilt.... however the new fascination of our son with fountain pens, dip pens and quills has resulted in a vast array of various ink stains (and thanks to online suppliers of a large array of colours) that adorn all my tablecloths and my wooden dining table. Anyone would think i am breeding exotic octopus! Enjoy your pasta stains people and train up for the war against ink! hee hee

blood! (sweat and tears, mine!)

Funkyferret · 09/07/2018 12:49

Car oil, WD40 . . . any oil related to "tinkering". Husband would be quite happy going out in an oil stained t-shirt, the only reason I persevere to remove it is my own standards!

xcxcsophiexcxc · 09/07/2018 12:50

Any oil based stain! Espeacilly on white tops
