With the new Peter Rabbit movie hopping into cinemas March 16, Sony Pictures and Mumsnet have teamed up to hide Peter Rabbit and his friends across the Mumsnet site for you to try and find. Follow the clues below and if you stumble across Peter Rabbit, post the URL of the page you found him on this page here and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £500 Pets at Home voucher, plus a £250 Love2Shop voucher. Three runners up will also receive goody bags.

Clues:
1. It’s all go go go on this part of Talk – find the latest conversations and threads you can stalk
2. YABU or YANBU is the answer over here – it’s the part of Mumsnet that some people fear
3. Whether you like comedy or drama, we’ve got a movie – find the homepage and everything’s groovy
4. Talking about films is the key, and if you look closely there’s a clue to see
5. Whether you've got green fingers, or your plants keep dying – check this part of talk and you'll be flying
6. Find children's book recommendations here, so when bedtime comes you're in the clear

We are also offering you the chance to win an extra £300 voucher of your choice (from a list) by sharing with us the made up lives and/or personalities you or your children have for your pets. “If you want to find out more about what pets get up to, why not book your child a place on one of Pets at Home’s fantastic FREE My Pet Pals workshops? Book your place now by clicking here

Has your DC ever made up a whole story as to what their pet’s life was like before it came into your home? Perhaps they imagine that all pets can speak to each other in a secret language that humans can’t understand? Maybe when you were a child, you imagined that your pet would go on all sorts of adventures when you were out and they would come back and tell you about them?

Whatever the lives/personalities you or your DC have for your pet, share them with us on the thread below and you will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

I found Peter here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/gardening

sharond101 · 20/02/2018 12:12

Here he is, www.mumsnet.com/films

My children think our dog who we no longer have has gone to the circus and one day will become a dog clown!?!

We don't have any pets in our home but when I was little I thought our cat Tuppence went out every night to play with all her friends and I thought is was unfair that I wasn't allowed to play with my friends outside when it was dark.

SillyMoomin · 20/02/2018 12:19

Found Peter at Mumsnet Films here's Peter

My DC have, to my delight, continued the story I used to tell them when they were babies about our family cat.

I used to imagine my cat had a whole life outside our house when I was at school- from being a cat detective, to lounging in the park with other cat friends, and would then race home before I got home from school to pretend to be just a cat again Grin

I told my children tales of our new family cat doing the same when they were little, and they've carried it on :)

MoominCat is actually not just a cat. He is a race car driver, who fights crime during the day!!

I found him here, bouncing up and down on the bottom of the thread!

We have a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles called Winnie, and my daughter (8)always says that if she could talk, she would sound like Marge Simpson's sisters, and be annoyed at everything we do & say. Grin
It's funnier because the dog is completely opposite, most loving dog ever, but my DD will insist on answering pretending to be the dog.
Me- Winnie, food time
DD- (deep voice) I don't want your foul tasting dog biscuits, they taste like cardboard and give me piles
And the poor dog sits there not knowing what's going on!

I wondered why rabbits where dancing at the bottom of the thread.
TBH I just thought MNHQ were just being goady fuckers.Wink You know what I'm on about DawnMumsnet, we want our Arsenals back! And where's our ( X )?

Slight derail there, sorry. Blush

We have a dog, but my DPs have a menagerie, including two tortoises. My eldest used to push them across the floor, when in their shells, and pretend they where racing cars.

Peter and one friend dancing on here. Kind of ironic given the thread title!

During boring meetings at work I imagine BeansDog breaks out of the house while I'm not there to solve mysteries with other local dogs. I've even got a mental image of her in a sherlock holmes style deerstalker hat, smoking a pipe and dashing around the neighbourhood. I might need to go to fewer boring meetings at work.

I found him skipping around here:

My DD(6) told her uncle that one of our cats whispers inappropriate things to the other (the d word mainly...dangit!)

PuppiesandTea · 20/02/2018 19:19

Eldest DS decided to tell DD that songs on the radio are about our dog so now the dog is famous world over and is especially loved by Bon Jovi and Elton John!

I found Peter doing a jig here.

My dd pretends her grandma's cats have wings and fly into the sky like owlette to save the day. She has wings herself too of course! She always seems to incorporate them into her pj mask games, and likes to call herself catgirl sometimes. She loves the kitties but she is only 3, so I do have to helicopter her around them. I love her imagination!

Found him there ^

My cat loves to watch nature programmes, especially David Attenborough ones with big cats, and is intrigued by elephants.

My lo is convinced the fish can survive without water..out the tank- he says they come out every night and play in the doll house.

lucylouuu · 20/02/2018 22:50

https://www.mumsnet.com/films I found him here!

We recently rehomed this lovely girl and I would so love pets at home vouchers to get her a new hutch and some more toys!

lucylouuu · 20/02/2018 22:52

oops pressed post too soon! I had a bunny when I was a little girl and when she'd play in the garden i'd always imagine her talking in her own language to all the bugs!

My little boy loves our pet Cat, they are the best of friends and Snuggle together for naps. I think they dream of each other whilst they cuddle.

he was doing the conga www.mumsnet.com/films

I would imagine that my kids had given two figs about the stick insects that we were given for a birthday present and I hadn't had to quietly dispose of them ... is that the kind of heart warming story you were after?

extinctspecies · 21/02/2018 07:47

Peter Rabbit has been following me all around the fucking site. And it's really, really annoying as I have an ad blocker to stop crap like this.

Please make him go away or i will have to feed him some poisoned carrots.

My eldest likes to pretend our dogs are police dogs and tries to get them to chase the bad guys with him Grin this mainly involves him dragging a tuggy toy and making them chase him!
