With the new Peter Rabbit movie hopping into cinemas March 16, Sony Pictures and Mumsnet have teamed up to hide Peter Rabbit and his friends across the Mumsnet site for you to try and find. Follow the clues below and if you stumble across Peter Rabbit, post the URL of the page you found him on this page here and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £500 Pets at Home voucher, plus a £250 Love2Shop voucher. Three runners up will also receive goody bags.

Clues:
1. It’s all go go go on this part of Talk – find the latest conversations and threads you can stalk
2. YABU or YANBU is the answer over here – it’s the part of Mumsnet that some people fear
3. Whether you like comedy or drama, we’ve got a movie – find the homepage and everything’s groovy
4. Talking about films is the key, and if you look closely there’s a clue to see
5. Whether you've got green fingers, or your plants keep dying – check this part of talk and you'll be flying
6. Find children's book recommendations here, so when bedtime comes you're in the clear

We are also offering you the chance to win an extra £300 voucher of your choice (from a list) by sharing with us the made up lives and/or personalities you or your children have for your pets. “If you want to find out more about what pets get up to, why not book your child a place on one of Pets at Home’s fantastic FREE My Pet Pals workshops? Book your place now by clicking here

Has your DC ever made up a whole story as to what their pet’s life was like before it came into your home? Perhaps they imagine that all pets can speak to each other in a secret language that humans can’t understand? Maybe when you were a child, you imagined that your pet would go on all sorts of adventures when you were out and they would come back and tell you about them?

Whatever the lives/personalities you or your DC have for your pet, share them with us on the thread below and you will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

We have two elderly cats so quite a sedate life, can't think a real or imaginary life will be that thrilling until..... we get our long awaited hamster soon then I think the cats will become two devious little plotters (or maybe more like a Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner scenario Grin)

found him here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/films

DD was just pondering yesterday about my Mum's puppy and wondering if she could talk but just doesn't speak when we're around, or will she start talking when she's older or could we teach her talk. Then she was trying to work out what a puppy would speak about; would it just be bones and walks or would she speak about books/films.

We have a "pet" spider, her name is stacey... she lives in top corner of our hallway catches bad dreams, shadows and night time noises in her web.

We have a little Lakeland called Snickers. My daughter thinks he goes in her room and plays with her toys when we are out...she is convinced that he can get past the kitchen gate and he's just faking every-time we get home lol

My DD's insist our hamsters are Russian spies and sneak out to secret meetings while we're at school and work.

Whitelisbon · 19/02/2018 21:14

I found him here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/active-conversations at the bottom of the page.
My ds has decided that our lazy fat cat is a secret superhero, who goes out to save the world when we're all asleep.
Apparently, the other night he saved us all from an asteroid, by catching it with pants and pinging it back into space guess what bedtime story was that night!

Our bulldog loves our DD, she's only tiny but I can already see him being dressed up as a princess and being made to drink imaginary tea. I think he will love it really.

Am liking your humour HQ Grin

DD is always making up whole life stories for our cat. She has a boyfriend (a black Tom) and they have lots of adventures together. She has some magical powers too. Oh and she understands most of what she says in her miaows and miaows back at her regularly in conversation, then helpfully translates it to me. I, in return, "voice" our cat when she does something silly. We are both certifiable clearly Smile

MipHound is friendly but very cheeky. He gets told off by other dogs sometimes but I'm sure it's because he's said something. But not that they have big bums - he loves to sniff bums of all sizes!

Bapple · 19/02/2018 23:00

Ds2 tells me that when he goes to school his cat picks up his own rucksack and goes off to pilot a plane. The airline is solely for cats and the cat air stewards serve Dreamies and milk. When he isn't off flying, he goes to the casino to "earn" money for his next holiday.

Our dear dog recently passed away, our 3 year old daughter wouldn’t have understood and as she absolutely loves paw patrol, we told her he had gone to join them in helping rescue people. Now she always says he’s rescuing people and it’s absolutely adorable. Xx

Not sure if I'm doing this right, the instructions aren't that clear I'm afraid! I found Peter and/or friends at all of the below places;

clue 1 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/active-conversations

clue 2 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable

clue 3 www.mumsnet.com/films

clue 4 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/films

clue 5 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/gardening

clue 6 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/childrens_books

We have a white rabbit, he often speaks to the dc (in a manner well known from another children's book!). At night he likes to go galavanting with his friends (mostly the pigeons next door out neighbours are not great pet people!) for some reason my dc have always found stories based around our animals hilarious - not always great at bedtime but fun Grin

SandLand · 20/02/2018 09:47

We don't gave any pets, but do gave a feral cat who brings her kittens to us. Sadly only one kitten left now (and no more because she has been spayed ), who the boys have named, and keep telling him to go hunt for food and not to beg at our window.
