It’s a wonderful life. Every single time.

nerysw · 02/12/2017 19:45

Since Gremlins has shamefully been missed off this list it'd have to be Muppet Christmas Carol.

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 02/12/2017 20:03

The Muppet Christmas Carol - I love the songs and Christmas doesn't start until I have watched it! Grin

marieingham · 02/12/2017 20:30

Beauty and the Beast, not Christmassy but will keep you glued to the TV

NotEnoughCushions · 02/12/2017 20:59

Disney's Christmas Carol to watch all together and Love Actually for when DC are in bed!

Maiyakat · 02/12/2017 21:41

Sound of Music, have to watch it every Christmas! My dad has never seen it and is weirdly proud of this fact....

Alexandra87 · 02/12/2017 21:57

Firstly I don't think bad Santa belongs on a family list!
Out favourite festive family movie from that list is home alone 2.
It's a film that brings back lovely memories from my childhood and my kids will hopefully have the same memories of it when they're grown.
Also I can imagine my 3 boys getting up to some of the mischief Kevin does if they were left to their own devices.
Bad guys aren't to 'bad' either so fine for small children.

Megansmumsie · 03/12/2017 00:54

You know what, i know there are so many cracking films on that list above, the likes of Home Alone 2, Love Actually and Frozen but my favourite, faaaaaaaaavourite Christmas movie of all time has always been and will probably always be Scrooged.

Scrooged is hands down, without a doubt my number one choice! I love that film Frankie angel. Niagara Falls...

mitalmanda · 03/12/2017 08:16

Some good films so hard choice, but do like The Grinch....funny, great characters, great original story and great Christmas message told in a fun way for adults and children. Good for parents and children.

N2986 · 03/12/2017 08:24

A Muppet Christmas carol by far my fave, but sadly DC's are scared of it 😒

Bufferingkisses · 03/12/2017 09:36

The nightmare before Christmas.

It's so well done and a little different from the usual saccharine sweet. All the family love it.

Thesqueezermustghost · 03/12/2017 11:10

Its a Wonderful Life. Live things that aren't just doing the now commonplace set of values, jokes, storytelling. Sure this had crummy values too but at least a little different to today's default.

TheEternalForever · 03/12/2017 16:27

Sound of Music - wouldn't think of it as a Christmas choice but it's a classic and amazing songs!

georgedawes · 03/12/2017 16:36

It's A Wonderful Life is the best Christmas movie ever! Just perfect in every way.

wishful2012 · 03/12/2017 16:37

It's polar express - got to be !! we started watching it when my son was small and still watching it now, get the sweets and popcorn out and a big blanket to fit everyone in

EmilyKEDB · 03/12/2017 16:38

The Muppets Christmas Carol - when I was little my mother loved that film and we watched it several times throughout December. Every Christmas I reach for it out of habit now and watch it with my own daughter.

APJ1 · 03/12/2017 16:41

Love Actually gets my vote. It's about all different types of love, not all perfect, and it's uplifting.

SSCRASE123 · 03/12/2017 16:41

Fred Claus - Vince Vaughn is brilliant.

chrissy53438 · 03/12/2017 16:43

Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas because I watched it as a child at Christmas

glenka · 03/12/2017 16:50

It has to be The Lego Batman movie.

gd2011 · 03/12/2017 16:55

Home Alone 2 is hilarious.

TracyKNixon · 03/12/2017 16:58

The Polar Express - beautiful animation!

Liquorice13 · 03/12/2017 17:00

The Polar Express - we watch it every year when putting the decorations up

carolacr · 03/12/2017 17:06

The polar express is so magical, the background music is soothing. Feel good Christmas movie. I love it. My granddaughter hasn't watched it yet, I'm so looking forward to her little face lighting up
