Polar Express is my sons favourite as he loves trains

We always watch 'Stuart Little' and 'Harry Potter'which are not strictly Christmas films but they are to us! Stuart Little is incredibly cute and all about family love and the Potter films are magical and exciting which makes a perfect afternoon for all.

Santa Claus: The Movie.. a bit dated but it has the best Santa character & reindeer, plus the super duper looper scene is ace

A classic for us - It's a Wonderful Life - just heart-warming.

Home Alone 2 . We all went as a family at christmas 3 years ago and we love sitting and reminiscing. NYC is such a magical place at Christmas :-)

We love Arthur Christmas its our favourite movie then followed by Fred Claus.

Home Alone. It's something i've watched every Christmas since i was knee high to a grasshopper. It would feel like something is missing if i didn't watch it. The kids seem to like it as well, so i don't have to force it upon them.

The best, feel good Christmassy film (Cary Grant stars) I've ever seen - watch it every year.

For me it is the Miracle on 34th street, and Kris Kringle. I love it because of it's plot, seeing Father Christmas, and proving he is 'real' is a real heartwarmer and the perfect film to watch before the big day, it makes the non-believers or those on the edge a firm fan !

Home Alone- it reminds me of my childhood

Santa Claus the movie! Every year it has to be watched I just love the kind of back story about Santa at the beginning.

Home Alone by far! Silly enough to appeal to my 3yo and reminds me of being young and watching it at school on the last day of term before Christmas

Home Alone is the general favourite, although my favourite is Planes, Trains & Automobiles. But after a big Christmas Dinner I'm usually asleep before the opening titles have finished if it's a film I've seen before.

Once the little one is in bed me, DH and eldest snuggle up together to watch the most Christmassy film of all - Die Hard! Yippee kye-aye indeed

It's got to be ELF, such a feel good film

Toss up for us between Elf and Home alone, we love a good belly laugh at Christmas!
