The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Muppets Christmas Carol. The puppetry, the jokes, the songs - just awesome! A proper classic.

But also really love Elf, The Santa Claus, Jingle All The Way, and Miracle on 34th Street. Oh there are just loads!

cazzg1 · 02/12/2017 11:34

id have to say santa claus the movie

kelliec · 02/12/2017 11:37

A Muppets Christmas Carol always wins the vote in our house

kelliec · 02/12/2017 11:38

It has something for all ages

strawberrisc · 02/12/2017 13:09

The Snowman. Always the Snowman! I love the innocence, I love David Bowie introducing it, I love the music. It still makes me cry EVERY time. I can't imagine that there will ever come a year when it is not shown on TV. It fully captures a child's excitement of Christmas.

Trenzalor · 02/12/2017 13:38

Muppet Christmas Carol. A Christmas classic in a child friendly form. I love it.

ultraviolet6 · 02/12/2017 16:39

Home Alone - it's a classic and always keeps us in fits of laughter!

tinald · 02/12/2017 16:57

I couldn't just pick one as we have a few films that are always watched at Christmas. They are One Magic Christmas, Prancer and a Muppets Christmas Carol. Wouldn't be Christmas without them.

HelenSw4les · 02/12/2017 18:05

The Santa Clause; Tim Allen is so talented and a great story, the whole family love it, it's so funny too.

marymod · 02/12/2017 18:21

A Christmas Carol - makes us all laugh and cry, but mostly makes us think about what Christmas is all about, which is so easy to forget.

Julia001 · 02/12/2017 18:44

We love Elf, but when our son is not around, we love Bad Santa :-)

Missfreckles · 02/12/2017 19:27

Oh it definitely has to be Home Alone! It reminds me of growing up and watching this at Christmas!

emmmaaa26 · 02/12/2017 19:29

The grinch is a family favourite, we think its funny, very christmasy and we love singing along with cindy-lou.

Larnipoo · 02/12/2017 19:35

Polar Express - really drums home the message of believing in Christmas (which is good with a ‘Santa doubting’ 9 yr old boy)

Jenniferturkington · 02/12/2017 19:43

Arthur Christmas is our family favourite. We all like home alone too and I admit to rather liking Love Actually

nerysw · 02/12/2017 19:43

Gremlins, sadly my kids were unimpressed but I still love it.

SequinsOnEverything · 02/12/2017 20:08

Elf is our favourite, but The Santa Clause is a close second.

When it's just me I love cheesy made for tv Christmas films and the new netflix one - A Christmas Prince i think it's called.

Thesmallthings · 02/12/2017 20:51

Elf

And die hard... Ok so not christmassy.... but it's set at Christmas time and is allways played at Christmas.

NotEnoughCushions · 02/12/2017 21:04

The Snowman every time for us. We watch it together every Christmas Eve before bedtime, a tradition that started when DC were tiny and continued every year.

Maiyakat · 02/12/2017 21:47

Frozen - snow, a good sing a long and a happy ending. What more could you want?!
