The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Home alone!

mummyspennies · 30/11/2017 13:37

For me it's Miracle on 34th Street, it's just so heartwarming. I remember going to see it at the cinema and getting a badge that said I believe!

Yazi23 · 30/11/2017 13:46

It's got to be Home Alone. Although my 16 month old enjoyed watching Nativity! the other day (I think because there's so many children in it and he just loves other kids). When I say watching, I mean stopping for a few seconds to watch it in between tearing the lounge apart Confused

Elf is our family's favourite. We love it so much we watch it all year round

dannydog1 · 30/11/2017 17:36

Definitely Home Alone

olbndansmummy · 30/11/2017 17:47

A Christmas Carol, the one with alastair sim that starts in black and white, but turns to colour later. Awesome film for when it was made.

tisha934 · 30/11/2017 17:50

Home Alone, so much nostalgia...

We also love Jingle All The Way, pure cheese !

1969angep · 30/11/2017 18:31

My son is really not fussed by films but did sit down and watch Arthur Christmas with us last year, I think he liked the big space ship 🚀 For Me, Elf is impossible to beat, it always makes me cry with joy!

elizaco · 30/11/2017 19:45

Elf is our family favourite! We've watched it several times already this year!

marieingham · 30/11/2017 19:50

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevvy Chase, quite an old film now but no matter how many times we've seen it, we still can't stop laughing, my dad has tears rolling down his cheeks. They don't make them like that anymore

Candyperfumegirl · 30/11/2017 20:06

Elf or home alone...I couldn't possibly choose between them!

BlackHillsofDakota · 30/11/2017 20:13

We discovered Get Santa last year and live it! Has replaced Elf as my favourite although dh still maintains nothing can top Elf so we'll have to watch both Grin

faceremovinghairscream · 30/11/2017 20:23

No our house it's either Elf, home alone, or more recently Arthur Christmas.

XiCi · 30/11/2017 20:41

Miracle on 34th St. Love both the colour and B&W versions

Also love Hogfather, Elf and Home Alone

Chopkins31 · 30/11/2017 20:46

We love to watch the Polar Express. It has been out tradition for the last 8 years, our son was obsessed when he was 2 and could recite whole scenes from the film. We try and go on a steam train a few days before Christmas and see Father Christmas, and we watch the film together on Christmas Eve

Cintacmrs · 30/11/2017 20:59

A Wonderful life - only ever watch once a year and cry every time xx

JoGodfray · 30/11/2017 20:59

My Children all adore Nativity at the moment. I think it is because they are all practising their Christmas songs in school and they recognise the ones on the film. It is really funny - love watching it with them

Julie0903 · 30/11/2017 21:15

Polar Express, I Believe.

GetKnitted · 30/11/2017 21:53

Star Wars... what do you mean it's not a Christmas film!?

EasterRobin · 30/11/2017 21:59

DD isn't old enough to sit through a whole movie yet (although if peppa pig ever brings out a movie, I'm sure DD would sit through 90 mins of porcine capers), so I'll go with either Star Wars or Harry Potter for me and my DH, siblings and parents to all watch together.

nobodyreallyknowsme · 30/11/2017 22:08

Polar express is a must for us in our house. Not seen the Grinch... thinking we should this year !?

sharmanda · 30/11/2017 22:09

We’ve not watched many Christmas films with our daughters but I love Arthur Christmas and they will both sit and watch that all the way through so they can’t hate it.

maureenm48 · 30/11/2017 22:11

Elf

Nativity
Home Alone

inabizzlefam · 30/11/2017 22:21

One Magic Christmas. I cried Buckets and went out and bought it on DVD.
Made my DCs watch but they were unfazed.....must be a generation thing. They could watch Boss Baby over and over.

shahinak39 · 01/12/2017 00:07

Home Alone, makes us go through all the emotions, from laughter to tears.
