The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Arthur Christmas we have watched it 4 times already and it's not even December yet and we have had our decorations up for a week already. Very Christmasy in our house this year

Helsbells68 · 28/11/2017 15:06

It has changed as the children got older but we do like to watch Die Hard 2 :)

Home Alone total classic. Love the church scene with the choir singing my favourite Carol O Holy night. And the hilarious bit when the burglars try and break in
I laugh till I cry even though I've seen it a million times.
Polar Express is wonderful and I cry at the bell scene at the end.
Jack frost(cry again- there's a theme here)
And love The Snowman, the gruffalo and gruffalos child.
Just for me,though I also watch Love Actually every year without fail.
I get very emotional at Christmas films even when I know what's coming.
Oh and Elf is totally the most hilarious Xmas film ever!!

peanutbutter310 · 28/11/2017 15:53

Elf for our family.

Although Miracle on 34th Street will always steal top place for me!

gemmie797 · 28/11/2017 16:10

We love Elf. We named our dog Buddy after it!

jhgillies · 28/11/2017 16:18

I was raised in the US and my favourite Christmas movie is in my opinion, one everyone NEEDS to see. It is called "A Christmas Story" it is absolutely hilarious. It is about a kid who wants a BB for Christmas and everyone keeps telling him that he's gonna shoot his eye out. It just reminds me of my own childhood experiences and my kids love it too! Go watch it!!!

CreativeMumma · 28/11/2017 16:32

I love Arthur Christmas!

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 28/11/2017 16:59

Without a doubt it has to be Elf.

Even DP who can be a bit Bah Humbug about Christmas at times loves it!

It's definitely one of our traditions to settle down and watch it even though the oldest is now 18

Candog · 28/11/2017 17:26

A Christmas Story

AdaColeman · 28/11/2017 17:26

For many years we watched The Life of Brian every Christmas Eve, but that has now been replaced by the Muppets. Xmas Smile

A favourite of mine is Cinderella with Helena BC as the Fairy Godmother.

shuggas · 28/11/2017 17:27

The grinch with the kids and then gremlins when they are in bed at Christmas is our favGrin

Winningbeauty · 28/11/2017 18:05

Not typically a Christmas film but it is Christmas in some of them! The Harry Potter films! Always manages to get the family sat down together even though we've watched them again and again!

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 28/11/2017 18:54

Rise of the Guardians

Arthur Christmas - one of the few films we will sit down as a family to watch and all enjoy.

ednabuckett · 28/11/2017 20:14

The Santa Clause! Absolute family fave.

CJ2008 · 28/11/2017 20:20

It is definitely the Wizard of Oz, I know it's ancient but it was my xmas film as a child and (amazingly) my kids love it too! We are desperate to see wicked!

becky004 · 28/11/2017 20:20
