The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Elf! It's hilarious and gets us excited for Christmas. Spotted it listed on Netflix but have been told it's too early to watch

RippleEffects · 27/11/2017 21:58

Another vote for Polar express. Hot, hot, hot chocolate being sung at the top of our voices and then drinking warm chocolate.

salequeen · 27/11/2017 22:05

Christmas carol ! I could watch it everyday ( Disney one Jim Carey )

Mallowmarshmallow · 27/11/2017 22:05

Elf. It's just got to be. It's getting harder and harder to find on tv nowadays. I think I might have to buy the DVD to save any uncertainty!

OhIfIMust · 27/11/2017 22:09

It’s got to be Home Alone!

CommanderShepard · 27/11/2017 22:42

My kids are still quite small but The Snowman is our Christmas ritual. Looking forward to longer films as they get older!

BroomstickOfLove · 27/11/2017 22:53

The Greatest Store in the World. The dvd sells for £15+ on eBay, and the BBC never show it AND got it taken off YouTube. I'd happily buy a copy of it was available, but r are no plans to release it commercially either :-(

Theladygardenofeden · 27/11/2017 23:05

Elf! DH and I watch it every year for Christmas while decorating the tree even before we had DS, who loves it now too. He had a Buddy baby grow when he was small too

Juanbablo · 28/11/2017 06:07

Home Alone 2:Lost In New York. The best Christmas film out there!

ewemum · 28/11/2017 07:15

Elf is our family favourite. Makes us all feel very happy and Christmassy!

VanGoghsLeftEar · 28/11/2017 08:37

Muppet Christmas Carol.

FaithEverPresent · 28/11/2017 09:05

I love The Muppets Christmas Carol. It’s absolutely genius!

DH would say his is Die Hard Hmm

MakeTeaNotWar · 28/11/2017 09:16

We really love The Grinch but also the Julia Donaldson adaptions - Stickman, Room on the Broom

Blahblahblueblee · 28/11/2017 10:28

The snowman!

sofieellis · 28/11/2017 10:31

Love Actually - it's a lovely film with lots of feel-good stories .

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 28/11/2017 12:12

Snowman and Snowdog here. The DC love it (3 and 4) and now both have cuddly snow dogs to watch with! It's just the right length for DS as he's not interested in sitting through full length films yet.

It's just a lovely Christmassy film for us all!

ephemeralfairy · 28/11/2017 12:38

Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger Grin

ephemeralfairy · 28/11/2017 12:40

Also the old black and white version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim as Scrooge

ephemeralfairy · 28/11/2017 12:43

Oh and we watch the Office Christmas special on Xmas Day and traditionally a very non-Christmassy film on Boxing Day. Last year was One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. I'm rooting for the Wicker Man this year.

nocturnalanimals · 28/11/2017 13:01

Home Alone

TheNaze73 · 28/11/2017 13:16

Trading Places

Singadream · 28/11/2017 13:16

Mary Poppins. Dd studying suffragettes in school and loves Mrs Banks at the moment. Even though it’s not about Christmas for us it is a Christmas film.

mumpetuk1 · 28/11/2017 14:12

Elf, we absolutely love it. All the family sit and giggle aat it.

FlowerTink · 28/11/2017 14:44

DD absolutely loves The Snowman!! She gets so excited when it comes on :) I've always loved Home Alone

Luckynut · 28/11/2017 14:46

We love Muppets Christmas Carol, Home Alone and Arthur Christmas but Elf would have to be the favourite that we watch time and time again.
