The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

We all love to watch Elf and Home Alone in this house never tire of watching either even though kids are in their late teens 😊

happiestcamper · 27/11/2017 15:21

Its got to be A Christmas story. "you'll shoot your eye out kid"

scottishem · 27/11/2017 15:46

The Holiday 😍 always makes me want to run away to a little cottage for Christmas

funnygirlthatbelle · 27/11/2017 15:49

It is so hard to choose - I LOVE the Christmas 24 channel - cheesier the better! But i think Home Alone 2 is our ultimate favourite.

InMySpareTime · 27/11/2017 16:15

Muppet Christmas Carol.
Every year we watch this, with homemade cinnamon popcorn, even though the DCs are teenagers they sing along to the cheesy songs and are humming them for days afterwards.

Ren1974 · 27/11/2017 17:12

The Wizard of Oz!

Not Christmassy at all but when I was growing up in the 80's, we did not has access to movie channels and films on demand, so each year in the Christmas holidays, classics like this would be shown on BBC, BBC2 and ITV. Whenever I watch the Wizard of Oz now, it reminds me of childhood Christmasses :) x

The original Nativity, we all love it.

FlowerPotMum · 27/11/2017 18:47

Home Alone and Trading Places.

ConorMcGregorsChin · 27/11/2017 19:07

Polar Express.
Love it. My 6 yr old DD loves it. And this year we are doing a Santa Train so I have bought a polar express train ticket with a bell attached to make it a little magical...

hollowtree · 27/11/2017 19:08

The Snowman!

kamaxtra · 27/11/2017 19:20

Typical answer but it's true - Home Alone!

73kittycat73 · 27/11/2017 19:40

The Polar Express and Arthur Christmas. I always associate The Wizard Of OZ with Christmas too as my mum and I would always watch it together every year when it was on at Christmas. (No DVDs about then or internet. Xmas Grin )

Sound of Music (though not christmassy) and elf

mumsbe · 27/11/2017 20:46

We go christmas film mad with elf and Santa clause the movie but our most favourite this year is Get Santa it's defiantly a hit with the adults and children in our house I think it's something to do with the farting reindeer.

Pipsqueak11 · 27/11/2017 20:48

The holiday . Love all the actors esp Jude law and Cameron Diaz but mostly proper romance and sad bits and happy bits - lovely ending and not too shmalzy.

onemorecakeplease · 27/11/2017 20:50

Home alone 2!

Kids love this film - it’s the only one dd will actually sit through and makes dd squeal with laughter!

We end up talking about it days later - remember that bit where he got hit with a brick/stapled his butt/got covered in paint....!

cheekychicken24 · 27/11/2017 21:19

The best family one for us is Elf - although DH and I toss a coin every year for the one we watch together before bed on Christmas eve - I always want the Holiday, & he wants Die Hard Grin Grin

giggly · 27/11/2017 21:20

Definitely The Polar Express in the highly house. We start watching it around the first week of December and on average twice a week. My 2 dd know pretty much all the lines and it's my job to shout "all aboard" will balancing hot chocolate with marshmallows.

chibsortig · 27/11/2017 21:36
