The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Home Alone for us. An oldie, but a goodie.

smit39 · 26/11/2017 15:24

The Holiday, I love the idea of a Christmas house swap!

otter099008 · 26/11/2017 16:28

It's got to be Home Alone! It's the perfect family Christmas movie, we watch it every year

bozoandgozo · 26/11/2017 16:34

Home Alone every time, i can even recite it!

purplevamp · 26/11/2017 17:52

Our favourite Christmas moves are Elf and The Grinch. We could watch them over and over!

gingerclementine · 26/11/2017 17:59

Home Alone and The Snowman have us all glued. Though Love Actually is my dad's favourite film and he's with us this Christmas so we'll watch that.
I've never even seen Elf or The Grinch. Got some catching up to do.

ozbird1 · 26/11/2017 18:01

The Grinch - my dad watched it a couple of years ago and was totally fascinated by it

fionatinkerbelljames · 26/11/2017 18:24

A Christmas Prince because it's something the whole family really enjoyed.

RaspberryRuffless · 26/11/2017 18:35

Home Alone 1 & 2. Just reminds me of being excited as a child about christmas and my son also loves them. It's tradition now on the day we put of the tree we watch Home Alone 1 that night, with the tree lights on.

ScreamingValenta · 26/11/2017 18:38

Jingle all the way - we love it!

ShatnersBassoon · 26/11/2017 18:40

Home Alone and Elf.

ShatnersBassoon · 26/11/2017 18:41

I forgot Gremlins! How could I?! Great film.

Theimpossiblegirl · 26/11/2017 18:48

Elf
Omg it's Santa! I know him!!
Xmas Smile

WillowWitch · 26/11/2017 19:00

It was Home Alone for years when the kids were younger but now it's Die Hard. It doesn't feel like Christmas until we've all sat down and snacked out watching them.

Ikea1234 · 26/11/2017 19:38

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation in our house. Ridiculous, but classically funny. We love the exploding turkey, the massive Christmas tree with the associated sap jokes, the yuppie neighbours and the jokes all around the descending family members. We watch it several times before Christmas- usually while putting up the decs for starters!

badgermum · 26/11/2017 20:37

Elf is our whole families favourite Christmas movie, no matter how many times we watch it it still has us laughing out loud at Elf's behavior and all rooting for Santa to get the sleigh in the air when he's stuck in central park

and I just love the quote "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

womblelancs · 26/11/2017 21:43

The Nightmare Before Christmas - absolute genius from Tim Burton.

hanarees · 26/11/2017 22:01

It's not technically a Christmas film but I've always loved Matilda and I used to watch it every Christmas as a child!

melmoo · 26/11/2017 23:45

It's a Wonderful Life - Great Christmas film with a moral story.

BL0SS0M · 27/11/2017 00:38

We love Elf, but my favourite is It's a wonderful life

fifimummy · 27/11/2017 00:41

It's got to be Gremlins! (the original one) I loved it so much as a kid & was literally counting the years until I thought they were old enough

Ranita · 27/11/2017 10:02

Star Wars. It's been a tradition for years, I used to watch it with my parents and it now carries on with my kids. Lovely to unwind in front of after the big Christmas meal.

mollymoo818 · 27/11/2017 10:06

The Grinch for the kids and Love Actually for me. Watch both every single year without fail and I still cry every single time at Love Actually.

therealposieparker · 27/11/2017 10:22

Elf...

We are now in countdown to Christmas movies! We have a few in a hat and pick one every week/really cold evening.

FridgeCut · 27/11/2017 11:31

Elf, we all love it and I only allow it in December, I like to keep it special!
