The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

We don't watch Xmas films as my kids lose interest within 20 mins. Someone always ruins the film regardless of what time of year it is. So when the kids are in bed out comes the wine (or brandy) and my favourite films to watch are goodfellas, casino, the godfather etc. These films never lose their touch and can easily watch again and again. Classics x

HELENSCRESCENT · 24/11/2017 13:18

This is such a hard one as we love so many. But as a family i think our favourite is ‘the santa clause’

Pantah630 · 24/11/2017 13:24

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, every Christmas Eve for the last 25 years. We also love The First Snow of Winter.

Yaracuy · 24/11/2017 13:33

Joyeux Noel, it's about the truce between enemies in the 1st WW on Christmas day. A true tear jerker.
Very beautiful and highly recommended. From that film stemmed a McCartney's song and advertising about Christmas.

Joyeux Noel, about a truce between enemies in the 1st WW. Highly recommended and you will cry.

We pretty much know all the words by now Grin

grecka · 24/11/2017 14:07

'It's a wonderful life' - it reminds me of what is important in life!

ladymelbourne1926 · 24/11/2017 14:32

A Christmas carol the one with Patrick Stewart in.

sarah861421 · 24/11/2017 15:09

Its a Wonderful Life. we know it so well that we dont mind if ( when ) people talk. Or if someone leaves the room ( toilet break, making tea, checking on dinner etc ), they can slip began it with out missing anything

CoffeeAndEnnui · 24/11/2017 16:25

Oh good call ladymelbourne, the Patrick Stewart Christmas Carol is excellent. He has the perfect voice for Scrooge ranting!

misskatamari · 24/11/2017 16:35

My favourites have to be Home Alone 1 and 2. We also love Elf and Nightmare before Christmas

beckyinman · 24/11/2017 16:47

Miracle on 34th street - start of christmas proper on christmas eve

julieef · 24/11/2017 17:53

Polar Express, the children have already started watching it now, it is normally a tradition that they start Dec 1st but they couldn't wait this year

Aspieparent · 24/11/2017 18:16

Our favourite Christmas movie is Arthur Christmas all 3 dcs love it.

sallyhartley · 24/11/2017 18:27

Home Alone. It's got amazing Xmas songs in it and also comedy

Lauzipop1 · 24/11/2017 19:32

Definitely the Polar Express. We just love the message behind it and the graphics are just amazing. Everytime I watch it I actually think I'd love there to be a real-life polar express train. But now I've got it in my head that I need to get a Polar Express ticket and bell for the Christmas Eve boxes. I'm driving myself mad trying to find the right shape.

prettybird · 24/11/2017 19:37

Our favourite is The Polar Express.

Ds (17) still enjoys it.

Tom Hanks is such a brilliant actor - even in animated form Xmas Wink

Ds even "believed" for a few extra years because "the magic is there for as long as you want it to be" Xmas Smile He still believes in the sentiment even if he doesn't quite believe in Father Christmas any more Xmas Grin

APJ1 · 24/11/2017 20:18

Love Actually, it's just such a feel-good film.
