The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

The Snowman! When I was a child I would watch it over and over with my nan and it just felt magical. Now I get to enjoy it all over again with my little boy, there's just something timeless about it.

Jack Frost is good and I love Xmas movies that send a message to us to think of others less fortunate at this time of year

helsrodders · 23/11/2017 22:53

My favourite Christmas film is It's a Wonderful Life, the best part being when everyone rallies around to replace the stolen money, saving George Bailey. It took me a while to get my children to watch it (because its in black and white) but once they saw it they loved it too. It's a film that gives you that feel good feeling.

Lurleene · 23/11/2017 23:04

My DS' favourite Christmas movie is Deck the Halls - in fact he watches it all year round.

Mine is Nativity 2. David Tennant x 2, say no more.

rutsan · 23/11/2017 23:27

I love Home Alone, can watch it over and over and never gets boring and now my kids love it too!

lhlee62 · 23/11/2017 23:32

I love Elf, it's just so sweet. The kids like Home Alone.

MSHGW · 24/11/2017 01:40

The Muppets Christmas Carol. It's got Dickens, it's got Muppets, it's got catchy songs. It gives me a that festive feeling!

Easylikeasonntagmorgan · 24/11/2017 06:15

Our family all love Elf. So funny and silly, it never fails to get us in the Christmas mood. Looking forward to watching it this weekend after we've put the xmas decorations up.

ThomasRichard · 24/11/2017 08:01

The Snowman, because it’s short, beautiful and perfect for a cosy evening.

createbeauty · 24/11/2017 08:47

Elf because it's light-hearted, funny and family-friendly.

bobistheboss · 24/11/2017 08:52

Every year we watch Miracle on 34th Street

shroney · 24/11/2017 09:00

We love Home Alone, it's just so funny and we have watched it hundred's of times and could happily watch it hundreds of times more.

finleypop · 24/11/2017 09:04

Elf, it is simply so funny, we laugh out loud no matter how many times we watch it

Belo · 24/11/2017 10:10

It's a Wonderful Life. I like to have it on whilst wrapping the presents.

Neenook · 24/11/2017 10:18

As a family we love Elf and watch together every Christmas Eve, but my all time favourite is Miracle On 34th Street (although I have to bribe the boys with popcorn to watch it with me!).

NauticalDisaster · 24/11/2017 10:21

I love the original Miracle on 34th Street (not the god awful remake) and Elf.

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 24/11/2017 10:52

But Richard Attenborough is Father Christmas! Shock🎅

BooRooandTiggerToo · 24/11/2017 10:55

Santa Claus the Movie - I can remember my auntie bringing this over for us to watch when it was first released. I have loved it ever since, and is now our must-watch Christmas film on Christmas Eve

Byrdie · 24/11/2017 10:59

Elf! Love it!!! I could watch it over and over again!

NerrSnerr · 24/11/2017 11:00

At the moment it’s The Snowman for us. My daughter is only 3 but remembers watching it last year and associates it with Christmas

Tanfastic · 24/11/2017 11:01

We love Home Alone or the Polar Express.

AR2012 · 24/11/2017 11:32

The Snowman brings back a lot of nostalgia from childhood

Sammyislost · 24/11/2017 11:42

Home Alone is our favourite.

Our Christmas Eve tradition is to eat Take-Away in front of Home Alone. It's such a fun family film, and I love the feel good vibe at the end :) What a classic!

We all love the Muppets Christmas Carol. It is funny, but genuinely touching.

devito92 · 24/11/2017 12:15

Elf is always the first one we all watch
