To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

When I was pregnant with my dd I noticed reduced movement at 39w+5. I went to get it checked out, turned out I have severe preeclampsia (i felt fine) with a bp of over 200/105. After a hellish night getting me stabilized my wonderful dd was born by emcs the next morning, perfectly healthy. It is possible neither of us would have made it through the night had she not warned me something was wrong and eclampsia had developed. My daughter is a true life saver, and makes live worth living every day.

My daughters hugs when I felt very low were the best! She always found my car keys which in my world is a life saver when my mind has been elsewhere. She can wear anything she is my hero

At my mother's wake when I was going round thanking her friends for coming and not really up to eating, my youngest (who was then 9) said 'mummy have some profiteroles, they're really nice'. So I sat down and had some with her and she helped to ground me again

My DS saved the day when he saw someone fall over in a supermarket car park. A lady had fallen between 2 cars and was having a fit. Thank goodness he saw her fall so we were able to call an ambulance otherwise, I dread to think how long she'd have been there. He is also paw patrol obsessed and loves Marshall

Not exactly a 'saves the day' story but...DS3 was born when DS2 was 2.10. DS2 has suspected ASC & at this point was not really talking at all. Since his little brother has come along, he has been making great leaps in his development & they play together so nicely, it's like they are growing up together as they are not far apart in a lot of ways. I feel certain that DS2's progess would not have been so great were it not for his bossy little brother (now 3.8).

Both adore Paw Patrol (as does DS1, secretly, he is nearly 9!)

DS1 (6yo) saved the day a few weeks ago. His two year old younger brother decided to try to find me when I'd popped out for groceries and DH was upstairs running his bath. DS2 had never shown the slightest interest in the front door previously, so I had no idea he could open it. He not only opened it, but walked down the steps unscathed and started to wander off out of the garden calling for mummy. DS1 saved the day by noticing his brother's absence, looking for him and discovering the open front door, going out to find him and literally dragging him back in kicking and screaming. What could have happened if DS1 hadn't looked for him doesn't bear thinking about. He is a real little hero!

My eldest likes to pretend he's part of the Paw Patrol coming to the rescue for whatever dilemma you make up for him. Yesterday it was a cow who was stuck on our roof after jumping too high on the trampoline. Not sure how it got on the trampoline or down the ladder he 'used' to rescue it, but hey. Thank goodness for little imaginations! 💙👍

My 4 yo saved the day at my Mums funeral when he was 2. He turned tears into laughter - and she would have loved it, because she loved him fiercly.

sweir1 · 18/10/2017 21:06

Mine decided to be ill last week and got me out of the world's worst meeting at work!

Diamondsandpears · 18/10/2017 21:55

I am regularly saved by my very own Paw Patrol (DCs) from Paw Patrol storylines as they are reenacted! Grin

8 year old dd1 saved the day when I got a vomiting virus one half-term. I was too weak to leave the bathroom floor so dd1 made sandwiches, washed an apple and poured a drink for her younger sister as she (dd1) was due to be picked up by another mum to be taken out to an event. Dd1 also helped her then 5 year old sister choose some books and toys to put in the bedroom next to me so that dd2 could 'look after' me while playing with her lego and reading.

HawkeyeInConfusion · 18/10/2017 23:56

Agree with pp about sorting out the gender stereotyping on the merchandise.

DD (5) saved the day when I went down with a nasty vomitting bug one evening - I could only shuffle between bathroom and bed. She looked after DS (3), put him to bed. Then put herself to bed. I don't know what I'd have done without her help.

SleepingStandingUp · 19/10/2017 00:12

My 2 year old is a little hero who saves my every day. He spent the first 18 months in and out of hospital having surgery after surgery. We're nearly a year clear but still has o2 and if PEG fed. He is learning to sign, gives the best hugs when I'm struggling, is just so strong headed and determined. I'd be lost without him

DS usually saves the day by shouting for us when his sister is about to do something naughty. Most recently she had managed to get to DH’s glass of red wine and was about to spill it everywhere....DS saved the day there!!

Wellandtrulyoutnumbered · 19/10/2017 08:48

"We can't really afford it at the moment" said DP.

"It's ok Daddy. I'll just get a guitar and a hat and go in town!"

She's nearly 6. Confident she could just play guitar.

Marsis · 19/10/2017 10:39

We spent 2 hours looking for keys the other week. DD decides to help and finds them in 30 seconds!

PugwallsSummer · 19/10/2017 11:25

She came up with the ingenious plan of blocking the open entrance from living room to kitchen with DD2's travel cot - I can now make myself a cup of coffee without being followed 👍

nippey · 19/10/2017 13:57

My daughter took her nappy off and then proceeded to poo on the floor when I was having an unwanted conversation with a neighbor who had knocked on my door. Turns out that poo gets rid of unwanted visitors very effectively!

gregorsmummy · 19/10/2017 14:32

My 4 year old literally saved our lives! We were walking to nursery and were on a footpath in front of a shop. He said "oh wait mummy, we need to hold hands" and stopped so I could catch up. Three seconds after clasping my hand, a delivery driver shot out, reversing back from the shop. I still break out in a cold sweat thinking about what could have happened if he had not wanted us to hold hands!

grannybiker · 19/10/2017 16:12

Totally saved the day by finding my keys! However, am a bit suspicious that they disappeared upstairs before finding them....

Mrscog · 19/10/2017 17:01

Our 5 year old saved the day just last weekend. We'd just loaded up the car and both the kids in to go on a nice day out over an hour away, DH started the ignition when a little voice pipes up from the back

"Mummy, I think Daddy forgot to put Fuzzy's shoes on'

Turned around, and what would you know, there's DS2 in the back, with no shoes on! No idea what we'd have done without them!

llewejk · 19/10/2017 20:32

We like people to remove their shoes in our house - due to beige carpets! It can be a little difficult asking people sometimes to remove your shoes. Where as my 4 year old can just walk to the door, "you have to take your shoes off"! She even got her new school teachers to remove their shoes on their home visit :-)
