To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

My daughter gave me her spending money when I forgot my purse at the shop, and she did it with such kindness.

Moshmoshi · 15/10/2017 21:13

My 4 year old daughter saves the day regularly. I'm a real scatterbrain and I always forget where I've left my house keys, car keys and phone. She has the memory of an elephant and always saves the day(and a lot of stress) by remembering where I dumped them and rushing off to get them for me.

mave · 15/10/2017 22:14

She pretended to be ill so we didn't have to eat my sister in laws awful Christmas lunch. (she's such a bad cook!)

agentdaisy · 15/10/2017 22:23

In the days/weeks/months after my Nan and mum died my dcs saved the day many times. I struggled to get through the days but knowing they needed me was the only thing that kept me going.

Ds is obsessed with paw patrol and he's asked for rocky and the sea patroller for Christmas, whenever he's asked to do anything his answer is invariably "never fear, ds is on the case". I have severe sciatica which regularly flares up leaving me unable to move much. Ds is an absolute star when I'm having a flare up and will fetch me things I need and always makes sure there are no toys on the floor incase I trip.

Cailin7 · 15/10/2017 23:21

Not sure any of our DCs have saved the day but they do make me smile each days and love them all

CopperPan · 15/10/2017 23:40

DS2 is really helpful and when I fractured my ankle a few months ago he was very keen on running up and down the stairs to fetch me things when I couldn't manage!

Lisapaige24 · 15/10/2017 23:45

My oldest child saved my life quite recently when she reminded me that it was my sons school Football match which I had forgotten about and to make Matters worse he needed new football boots which I had forgotten to buy and had to quickly run out and buy before getting to his match just in time he was somewhat upset that I wasn’t there earlier but all worked out in the end thanks to my daughter

mayathebee · 16/10/2017 00:08

My little paw patrol fan saved my bacon last week when she reminded me that her big sister was meant to be going on a school trip. I had totally forgotten (as had DD1) and I almost dropped her off in uniform and without her packed lunch or wellies. DD1 is a sweetheart but is also quite sensitive and she would have been devastated - thank goodness for DD2! I am studying as well as working so life is hectic and I had somehow mixed my dates up.

mayathebee · 16/10/2017 00:10

I have to laugh at how many of us are admitting that our DC act as a reminder service. Perhaps we should all add a diary or bullet list journal to our Christmas lists!

My son saved the day when I was suffering from depression, did not want to get dressed, go out or engage with others. He asked me if he could go swimming then to the park, at first I tried for distract him with, ok we will go tomorrow, hoping he would forget. Tomorrow came, his little face melted my heart, so I got dressed, packed out bags and went out, and it was the first day of the rest of my life and my recovery from depression, my get up and go slowly came back. We now go out 3 or 4 days a week, to the park, toddler group and swimming - he really did save my life.

Demiguise · 16/10/2017 07:28

DD2 adores Paw Patrol, and she regularly saves the day here! I have mobility issues and she really is a little star - jumping up to fetch things, pick up anything I drop and help me unpack the shopping without asking.

phillie1 · 16/10/2017 09:03

by giving me a hug, when you need it most

Mummy2aRockstar · 16/10/2017 10:33

I recently trapped a nerve in my back, which while being painful as a mum you just have to get on with it.
I struggled to pick things up so my caring 5 year old son starting following me round the house handing me things, he was a real life saver that day.

custardcream1000 · 16/10/2017 11:34

A little boy was crying At the school cake sale as he had lost his money to buy a cake. My son asked me if he could give him some of his pocket money as he wanted to make him feel better. It was very sweet and brightened up the other child's day.

Wishingandwaiting · 16/10/2017 12:23

Four hours from home. Night time. I’m a single mum with two children.
I couldn’t find my car keys anywhere. On verge of crying.

My 4 year old spots them under the car beside us. I wept with relief!

georgedawes · 16/10/2017 12:47

When DD was about 3 I nipped out the front of the house to move the car after having builders in. I came back about 60 seconds later to find she'd put the chain on and locked me out!! God knows how or why, as she'd never shown any interest in it before, but she just couldn't seem to open it again and let me back in. Bless her, after me talking to her through the letter box she managed to work out how to undo it and let me back in :)

K3rry · 16/10/2017 12:51

my son saved me from a heated debate which could have turned into an argument by shouting 'i've finished' from the toilet

Carriecakes80 · 16/10/2017 13:17

I had to have a vocal cord polyp removed, and couldn't speak for a few weeks, and so my children spoke for me! Then, my youngest came up with a great idea of making cards that I could hold up while my throat recovered!
It could be extremely hard work at times, but the kids turned a stressful time into a fun time, they learned how to use the telephone properly, and by them making me so many different cards to hold up (some of them were so daft! ie: My name is Mummy and I have a big bottom' I think I was given to hold up once on the bus!) but it did teach them to be more patient, and also, helped their spellings loads!
Very proud of them! x

The day before a holiday we had washing out that we needed to take and it started raining hard. My lad completely by himself dashed out and got it all in before we'd even noticed it had started raining.

Getsorted21 · 16/10/2017 13:28

My eldest (3.5) loves Paw Patrol. His faves are Sky & Chase.

When DC2 came along (now 8.5m) DS1 was a godsend, rocking him in his cot (it's on wheels), bouncing the bouncer & pushing the pram back & forth. Made it possible for me to have a shower in the mornings, etc. He started pre school in Sept & I really miss his help! 😁

xcxcsophiexcxc · 16/10/2017 13:37

My little one is a bit too young to speak but my little 4yo brother likes to tell me I look so pretty without make up on and is always helping me entertain my son and wants to help feed him xx

MillyVanilli222 · 16/10/2017 14:23

I think mine's too little to be obviously heroic, but he honestly brightens my day every day and makes me smile even at the toughest of times!

MummyBtothree · 16/10/2017 14:38

My youngest son who is 5 is absolutely Paw Patrol mad! , he's our little superhero every day as he has severe development delay and doesn't find school or socialising easy but he tries his best! ❤

merlymerly · 16/10/2017 15:17

My son 'saved the day' last week when he realised I had dropped the house keys out of my handbag whilst we were walking along (I was trying to get a tissue out)

meepmoop79 · 16/10/2017 15:20

Its a small thing, but yesterday my eldest was the only one who was able to remember what floor of the car park we had left the car on.
This saved a lot of aggravation.
