To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

My son realised I had dropped my house keys as we were walking along (I was trying to get something out of my handbag) - that was a life saver!

becky004 · 16/10/2017 16:39

I was bedridden for several months with an illness, every morning and every night DS would feed our 3 dogs and take them out while OH was at work, he was a god send at the time.

honeyandginger48 · 16/10/2017 19:35

My eldest saves the day when he empties the dishwasher and makes me a cup of tea after I've had a long day at work!

jandoc · 16/10/2017 20:11

my daughter doesn't yet quite know how to save the day but it's coming lol

FireflyGirl · 16/10/2017 21:37

We were trying to think of excuses as to why we wouldn't be attending DH's friend's party, because we didn't want to go. Luckily, DS saved the day and gave us all the norovirus. Thanks DS, next time I'd rather go to the party...

buckley1983 · 16/10/2017 21:47

My LO is great at getting me out & about - often after a day at work - the temptation is to crash out on the sofa when I get home. My little man gets me up & out the door - going for a walk or racing around the neighbourhood. I often groan (inwardly!) but as soon as I'm out the door, I love it as much as he does!
It's great to be outdoors together, enjoying the fresh air & a bit of natural light - especially as the nights draw in.
If it wasn't for my little man & his boundless energy I would be at least a stone heavier, & have a lot less fun!

I once unknowingly left the hob on. DS hadn't gone to bed yet and he said something like 'mummy, are we eating again?' and I looked at him weirdly and answered 'no'. He then asked 'so why is the fire on' and pointed inside the kitchen. I must have sprinted the fastest I ever have to switch it off. I'm pretty sure I surprised him with a gift for that. I really should have been more careful. I know it could have gone much worse than that.

Finding a pound down the back of the sofa!

Eldest daughter (6) reminded me of her sister's birthday at the end of the week (I was a week behind in my head) Totally saved the day/week/year as I could panic buy her a present in time.

Life Guard

This year on holiday my partner took my 4 oldest swimming while I took our 2 yr old the park, on the way back I nipped into the swimming pool to watch them. My youngest got all upset because the others were swimming so I left his shorts on and just took his top off & my 4 yr old daughter got out and gave her armbands and rubber ring to him so he could have 5 mins swim with his dad. I had my daughter stand by the barrier to the watching area while I was on the other side till my partner got my son out. He was just carrying him up the pool stairs to get out when my daughter got excited seeing the chance for her to get back in and made a run & dive into the pool forgetting she had no armbands etc on ! I was just about to leap the barrier and dive in with my clothes on because she went under coughing and spluttering & her dad couldn't reach her with my son when my 6 yr old son paddled to her grabbed her by the straps of her costume and somehow got her to hold his rubber ring while he kicked his legs like mad to get her to the edge of the pool before the lifeguard on duty had even manage to jump down off his watch post !! He saved her that day without even a hesitation he was a super star Grin & my daughter was so stunned she kept looking round her waist as if to say where has my rubber ring gone Confused

claza93 · 17/10/2017 06:54

My eldest always saves the day with a cuddle and a hot cup of tea!

Dormouse1940 · 17/10/2017 09:47

My son's a wonderful little helper with a good memory, so he often manages to find things that mummy's 'lost' in the house!
He's also started saying 'don't worry, mummy' whenever I look a bit flustered, which is very endearing.

He loves Paw Patrol... probably because he doesn't end up with the theme tune bouncing round and round his head as he's trying to sleep like mummy does.... SIGH

I had an epileptic fit in Asda. My 2 girls were 6 and 8 at the time but had never been on their own with me during a seizure. They stayed calm, got someone to help, recited my husbands phone number to the first-aider and came with me in the ambulance. It's been a while since we went back down the baking aisle in Asda! So proud of them both.

alixlouise20 · 17/10/2017 12:02

I was taking my niece out shopping , she’s 4 years old. We was getting the train into town and just before the train was coming she said to me “auntie Alix, why do you leave the window open when we leave the house?”
And I was like oh my god the window is open, so it’s a good job she said something because god knows what might of happened! She is always reminding me of things so she’s a life saver!!

Pigeonpea · 17/10/2017 12:59

My little girl is naturally a caring person and will often run to the aid of other little people if they fall over in the park and raise attention for an adult to come and care for them

wornoutboots · 17/10/2017 14:31

my 4 year old had serious speech delays.
Last year, when his little sister was starting to try to say more than juse "mam" "dad" etc, I came back into the room to see him sitting in front of her so I stopped to watch for a moment.
"say 'ball', [sister]!"
"ba'"
"say 'ball'!"
"giggle BAW'!!"
"that right, [sister]! Good girl! you say "ball'! "
"BAW!!!"
"that right, [sister]! You talk, not be like [his own name]"

I cried (where they couldn't see me)
so I'm not sure about Saving the Day, but he's my little hero.

And that story will have totally outed me to anyone who knows us but I don't care.

Gerjuice · 17/10/2017 14:48

My daughter regularly 'saves the day' by helping her sibling get changed in time for the rush to school...I love hearing them bond and chat together as well.

NoStraightEdges · 17/10/2017 14:55

My Paw Patrol mad 4 yo has a memory like and elephant and regularly saves the day!

He remembers hockey sticks for his brother, my mobile phone, his dads car keys, and things off the shopping list that I left at home. It makes me wonder how we ever managed without him! Smile

StickChildNumberTwo · 17/10/2017 16:40

When I was pregnant and exhausted my three year old would come and give me cuddles to give me some of her energy, which made me smile even if it didn't actually increase my energy levels.

HopefulHamster · 17/10/2017 19:09

My son often saves the day for me with his younger sister. Sometimes when she's having a tantrum, he's the only one who can calm her down.

badgermum · 17/10/2017 19:49

My son saved the day when our pet tortoise escped from his run, we have a garden with lots of place to hide and escape from but my son spotted the tortoises shell poking out from under the rolled up door mat and we safely returned him to his run. Panic over

buckeejit · 17/10/2017 20:27

DD 3 by calming my road rage right down by shouting before I do, 'that man is an idiot!'

rachaelsit · 17/10/2017 21:24

I had lost my purse just last night and my son very helpfully brought his binoculars and torch to help me find it. It miraculously appeared in his suitcase of other goodies haha

sobeyondthehills · 17/10/2017 22:06

When I was struck down by the flu, DH had to go into work, so I was spending the Saturday with a very active 5 year old DS, feeling like death couldn't come quick enough. DS made me breakfast, made me cups of tea with no boiling water but lets not hold that against him and thought of many games we could play while I was lying on the sofa. He also took himself off for half an hour to play in his room and played with the dog in the garden. He was a little star

rhinosuze · 17/10/2017 22:50

My daughter knew I'd left the oven on when we went out the other day so we could go home and turn it off, grateful she notices these things! We probably owe her the flat!!
