To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

When she found my mobile in the bin before we took out the trash. Of course she was the one who had put it there to begin with.

pinkandpurplejelly · 20/10/2017 09:48

I was in my conservatory which is seperated from my kitchen by a door. My dd aged 3 started to play with the keys in the lock and ended up locking me out. She got really upset and couldn't unlock it. I ended up going round the side of my house to the front door and talking to my children through the letterbox. My son who was only about 15 months managed to pass me my keys when I stuck my hand in and I was able to get in. All the while my husband was upstairs asleep oblivious to all the noise and drama!

pixelwife · 20/10/2017 11:04

My son has saved the day (and his nan) quite literally twice this week. On Monday my mum had a mini stroke and he went out onto our road and opened the gates at the front and put a bin in front of the sensor so they'd stay open for the ambulance. Even though she came out of hospital that night sadly the next day she had a full stroke and despite already being shook up he did the same all over again! He's only 7 and I am so proud of him. My hero!

My ds saves the day every day.
He has some behaviour issues and speech delays but lives life to the fullest everyday. Even the smallest treasure has him squealing with joy. It's hard work and endlessly demanding looking after him but he fills my heart with joy

I love watching him out of the corner of my eye, playing his make believe games with his paw patrol figures
"Is ok wockey, wyder help you"😍

CakeAndChocolate · 20/10/2017 19:29

A couple of times I have forgotten to do up my DS's seat belt in the car and just before I drove off he said "mummy, you haven't strapped me in". Thank goodness he has his head screwed on!

Shiraznowplease · 20/10/2017 19:34

My dd told her teacher that one of the boys in her class was lying on the floor in the playhouse (he had had an anaphylactic reaction to egg) to be fair it was mainly because she wanted to play in there and because she was worried he may be sick or make a mess on the carpet 🙊 But he was bluelighted to hospital and she got star of the week. She was four at the time and in reception

My daughter found my lost passport - her sister hid it in the peg bag. She said it was an obvious place to check - obvious to a 3 year old and a 1 year old perhaps!!!

allotmentgirl82 · 20/10/2017 21:08

When my daughter was 2yrs old (nearly 3) she saved my life.
I'd collapsed in the kitchen and suffered a TIA. I was paralysed on my left hand side and couldn't move. My daughter stayed with me the whole time, she helped move me into the recovery position by pushing my body from behind. I needed to phone the ambulance but my mobile was upstairs, my daughter went upstairs and fetched my phone. My words were slurred but my daughter could understand me. She helped me to dial 999 and told the operator where we lived after copying what i was saying.
The paramedic was here really quickly, only problem was the front door was locked. My daughter had to climb onto a chair to reach the key and hand it to the paramedic through the letterbox.
My daughter is my hero. I nominated her for a British Red Cross Humanitarian Award and she won a Special Award- she is the youngest ever winner.
Daisy wants to help mend people when she's older.

GruffaloPants · 20/10/2017 21:35

DD1 is great at entertaining her wee sister. She is also great for running for a wipe when there's a nappy explosion or similar.

FaithEverPresent · 21/10/2017 08:01

My DD is known as the ‘finder of things’ in our house! Multiple I have searched for stuff but couldn’t find it. I’ve asked her and she’s gone straight to it. This was especially helpful the day before our holiday when I couldn’t find any of our swim stuff!

HeresJohnnyforrrrm · 21/10/2017 13:51

My son was of few months off turning 3 when we moved into our house. I went upstairs to run a bath and started packing some washing away. He was downstairs watching some telly. A while later, he came upstairs to tell me there was water pouring through the ceiling "but don't worry mummy, I've sorted it."
So I rushed downstairs to find lots of colourful ikea plastic cups and bowls as well as all my saucepans dotted around the room catching all the drips 😍. He literally caught every single drop and saved me a LOT of cleaning up. What a superstar!

Cooksters · 21/10/2017 16:49

My 3 year old is a paw patrol obsessive. I can't quite remember any heroic stories, but when she got locked in a neighbour's loo, and we were panicking and trying to undo the lock from the outside, she shouted through the door to us that she was ok and the paw patrol will sort it. It was too funny, timing was perfect!

Theimpossiblegirl · 21/10/2017 22:08

I didn't think I had anything to contribute to this thread, but DD1 just came down saying there were spiders in her bed. DD2 has invited her to sleep with her so I can continue to drink wine and catch up on X Factor.
There were no spiders.

Chocness · 21/10/2017 22:31

My toddler plays with his toys every morning whilst I have my shower. When he hears me turn the shower off he will invariably go and get me a bath towel or if I run out of shower gel he’ll go and find me some. He’s only 2 and a half and such a helpful poppet 💗

ThatsWotSheSaid · 22/10/2017 08:09

About 6 months ago my toddler posted our only set of keys for our newly fitted bi-fold doors between some exposed floor boards (due to the work we were having done) luckily our 6 year old came and told us or we would have no idea what happend.

strawberrisc · 22/10/2017 10:24

She saved the day by giving my life real meaning.

itsonlysubterfuge · 22/10/2017 10:55

My DD has such a lovely personality. I have severe PMS and sometimes her little hugs and smiles are the only thing that keep me from losing my mind. Plus with my bad menstrual cramps, she's always looking after me like bringing me a blanket or a pillow. I love her so much!

RaspberryRuffless · 22/10/2017 13:25

We where locked out the house once so I had to lift my son through an open window so he could unlock the front door!

vickyors · 22/10/2017 13:38

My daughter saved the day at a very sad moment. At great uncle’s funeral (who was a twin of grandfather), she said.. ‘well mummy, he’ll be happy because he has gone to be with grandpa’. Everyone laughed, as children sometimes just ‘get’ stuff in a way we don’t.

On another note. Paw patrol needs more female characters. Both my girls love it, but it is behind the times on representation. Thanks.

ExhaustedPigeon · 22/10/2017 15:49

I’m not sure she saved the day but me, Mum and Dad felt a bit stupid for not thinking of it ourselves.

She has breakfast at Mum and dads 2 mornings a week so is already in her school uniform. Dad put a tea towel around her neck so she wouldn’t get her uniform dirty. It kept falling off and we all tried to tuck/tie it on to no avail. She looked at us and said ‘look I just need a clothes peg’ Shock honestly why 3 fully grown adults couldn’t think of that Blush

ExhaustedPigeon · 22/10/2017 15:51

Also please please do clothes with all the characters on. You had some lovely ‘boy’ pj’s that I bought my daughter but they didn’t have sky on The ‘girl’ pj’s only had the female characters on 🙄

Fruitdrop84 · 22/10/2017 18:11

My 4 yr old son has been trained to use the phone in an emergency. I'm diabetic and took a severe hypo and fell down the stairs. He went and got me my glucose pen and phoned my other half. Luckily once I injected I came around and was ok apart from a few bruises. He literally saved my life that day. He's a wee hero.

Ren1974 · 22/10/2017 18:38

My son saved the day when on holiday this year. He is an excellent swimmer and his little sister has just learnt to swim but she wandered out of her depth without realising it and although I was in the pool with her and about to grab her, my son calmly swam up to her and guided her to safety. He is a bit old for Paw Patrol but would love to win for his sister who loves the show :)

Helsbells68 · 22/10/2017 18:57

My youngest is always there with a hug when things get bad

rachelmi · 22/10/2017 19:20

My son saved me from a difficult phone call but announcing at the top of his voice that he needed me to ‘wipe his bum’!!

Was very east to say NOW I REALLY HAVE TO GO!!
