To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

How long have you got?
My daughter was a big sister at 18 months and a big sister twice over just after she turned 3. She isn't particularly maternal, but has always been the sensible, grownup one, compared to her younger brothers and has "saved the day" on many occasions when I just couldn't be in two places at once or juggle everything that needed doing. This has usually involved looking after or entertaining her brothers but on one occasion when she was aged about 12, my MIL, who is bad on her legs, had broken down at the bottom of our road in the pouring rain. I was just starting to cook their tea but she sounded so panicked on the phone that I made the decision to leave the kids at home, thinking I'd be 10 mins and went down to try and help but ended up having to wait with her until the AA arrived. It was nearly an hour before I got back home only to find that my daughter had made bacon sarnies all round and put a DVD on!

I have depression and one day I was at an all-time low, crying uncontrollably and my 4 year old daughter came up to me, gave me a cuddle, stroked my hair and said "don't worry mummy, everything will be ok".

mooota1514 · 14/10/2017 13:49

I managed to lock myself out the flat with my newborn inside luckily I could lift my 3 year old in through the very small window was a very tight squeeze for grown-ups, and he managed to open the door from the inside

LeeR1985 · 14/10/2017 14:15

My daughter 'saved the day' a few months ago. When I leave the house I always check the door to make sure I lock it. On many occasions I get half way up the road and have to go back to check. When we were leaving to go the shops, it was raining and I left my wallet in the house so I ran back in the house to get them and when I got back out, I forgot to check the door. Luckily as we started walking away my daughter said "you didn't check the door", it was lucky she reminded me because I hadn't locked it!!

My daughter was always the kind little social worker at school and the time that sticks in my memory is when a disabled girl was getting bullied, my daughter who was in the popular group of girls, was not afraid to stand up and speak out, she really did save the day and made bullying not cool and shamed the people , who she knew, the school and i were so proud of her for doing this, not always easy to not be part of the group and tag along so good for her....

robtherake123 · 14/10/2017 14:22

My eldest boy once picked up a stick and chased off a gang of delinquents who were taunting his autistic brother. Maybe the stick-waving isn't to be wholly encouraged, but I knew from that day on that Zac would be fine when I'm gone, as long as Col is still around.

glennamy · 14/10/2017 14:43

I have a terrible memory and my DD always reminds me for my keys and that is when we are just leaving the house! :D

compy99 · 14/10/2017 15:14

our little chap has a remarkable memory, If we ask him to remind us of something he will. This came in handy when he reminded us that a family member was visiting........ we had totally forgotten, the place looked a tip so thankfully we had time for mass tidy up and get ready for our visitor.

Sezza110 · 14/10/2017 15:36

We were lost in Edinburgh and one of the kids remembered a park near the hotel and found the way.

gd2011 · 14/10/2017 15:48

Never.

freefan · 14/10/2017 15:59

My kid are forever saving me from forgetting thing be it their cups or favourite toys.
DD once actually picked up my handbag at the dentist without me even realising I had forgotten it.. it took over an hour before I realised I didn;t have it for her to open her backpack with a giggle.

senorita26 · 14/10/2017 16:43

My 2 year old grandson saw that a little boy had had an accident in his pants at nursery and rushed to get his own paw patrol bag and said the little boy could borrow his spare boxers and joggers!

Icecreambythesea · 14/10/2017 17:25

My 3 year old saved the day by reminding me that I hadn't fastened his car seat straps! Shock That could have ended very badly!!

shroney · 14/10/2017 18:21

my eldest daughter saves the day by helping out her younger brother with his homework. It saves a lot of stress and frustration as she is so much more patient at explaining than I am.

mollymoo818 · 14/10/2017 18:45

I don't know what I would do without my kids helping me out all the time. I rely on them so much for small things such as remembering where we have put things because I am always forgetting and if it wasn't for them always remembering where I have put the car keys we would never get anywhere!

barbsbarbs · 14/10/2017 18:58

we were geting ready top gp to my brothers wedding, and we were all ready to go and couldnt find our car keys anywhere, it was a frantic panic, but then my three year old came strutting down in her bridemaids dress, having found them in the toy box.

Blizy · 14/10/2017 19:02

My ds is my rainbow baby, so he literally did save my day and my life!

twinklenic · 14/10/2017 19:08

im disabled and walk with a crutch and my 4 year old is constantly trying to open doors to help or pick up my crutch if its fallen to the ground. shes a real little helper

sarah861421 · 14/10/2017 19:30

I have low confidence and self esteem issues, and my daughter helps by just saying something simple to me like hallo, and you look good today

NutellaDoughnut · 14/10/2017 19:51

I have a Paw Patrol fanatic who has already started hoping out loud that Santa will bring him a Sea Patroller. His current tactic is to muse aloud how much the baby (due just before Christmas) would enjoy playing with a Sea Patroller and how much he would like to teach the baby about the pups. I think he has visions of himself being Ryder and the baby being Alex.

He currently saves the day most days by helping me up off the floor when my bad back prevents me getting up unaided. Admittedly I wouldn't be on the floor in the first place if it wasn't for playing with his toys with him, but I certainly wouldn't be getting up without his help either.

RupertsMum2 · 14/10/2017 19:55

My little grandson (5) was reacently rushed into hospital and diagnosed with diabetes. Obviously it was a big shock to us all especially as he has other, unrelated, medical problems. Ds3, who has just turned 11, took it all in his stride, taking his wee nephew to the playroom whilst drs, nurses and dietitians spoke with us and volunteering to let dgs practice doing blood sugars and injections on him although he admitted later that he had been really scared. Being the youngest by many years I sometimes think that Ds3 can be a bit self centred but I have been so proud of him these last few weeks he has made things so much easier for us all.

Minnibix · 14/10/2017 20:14

My oldest son is an angel and regularly saves the day by keeping his younger brothers and sisters entertained whilst I cook the tea or even have a relaxing bath

Summergarden · 14/10/2017 20:31

When I had her baby sister and recovering from surgery, DD was a star by helping me out. She opened the door when I asked her to, fetched my phone and the mail from the doorstep.

She was a real help.

Marg2k8 · 14/10/2017 21:15

My DD would keep my DS entertained by playing with him when I needed to do sometthing.
