To help showcase the new Sea Patrol range, PAW Patrol would love to hear about when your child has ‘saved the day’ themselves - this could be something like rescuing you from an awkward conversation with a neighbour, suggesting a fun day out you’d have never thought of, spotting someone in need or simply saying something which made you (or a family member) smile!

The team at PAW Patrol say “Trouble is on the horizon at Adventure Beach! Help Ryder and the team of pups save the baby octopus by jumping aboard the PAW Patrol Sea Patroller. Equipped with flashing lights, sounds and a detachable anchor, this rescue vehicle comes with everything your little one will need to sail the high seas. As captain, they’ll have command of the life ring launcher, as well as the handy crane and cage – perfect for getting Ryder into hard-to-reach places. This dual boat/land vehicle can easily tackle rocky roads. Simply slide the bridge forward and wheels drop down, taking them over any terrain. There’s room for all Sea Patrol Light Up Pups aboard the Sea Patroller (additional figures are sold separately). The Sea Patroller can hold up to 2 Sea Patrol Vehicles, and comes with Ryder’s Rescue ATV. Load it into the Sea Patroller and use the front-opening ramp to send the PAW Patrol on a roll! For extra-tricky missions that require flight, the helipad on the back of the ship is the perfect launching spot for Skye’s Sea Patrol Vehicle (sold separately). Whether land, sea or air, the PAW Patrol will be there!”
The Sea Patrol range is suitable for ages 3 years and over.

Add your comment to this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get - not only a £300 Argos voucher but also a PAW Patrol pack - consisting of Sea Patroller, 6 Sea Patrol Vehicles and 6 Sea Patrol Light Up Pups - worth over £200 Smile.

Thanks and good luck

My son did something mega-heroic when we were at the park with a friend and her toddler had suddenly dissappeared. As we started to look around the play area for him, my eldest son headed straight for the gate (it's a dog proof one which allows kids to easily push it open from inside because it stops dogs pushing it open from the outside) - he found the toddler heading into the busy car park, grabbed him and brought him back to us. Truly incredible!

He's always watching over his little sister these days, helping her out and putting it on her fave programmes for her on TV too - including Paw Patrol!

My 11 month old saves the day every single day with her beautiful smile! I've been through postnatal OCD and that stunning face reminds me that she's absolutely worth it.

I had to put our cat down last weekend and my son was fantastic, I arrived home after being at the vets and he and my mum had cleared all the pet stuff away so I wouldn't have to do it and they had tidied the house up and he gave me so many cuddles that weekend whenever I was feeling down... without him I am not sure how I would have coped.

My 4-yr old saved the day on a trip out with Nana and Grandad (not known for their navigating skills) by directing them back (in the car) from the place they were visiting to the main road - a good couple of miles. When I asked how he'd known the way - he'd never been there before - he looked slightly askance and said "Well we'd gone that way to get there mum, so it was just backwards". Can't fault his logic.

feellikeanalien · 14/10/2017 22:39

Not exactly saved the day but my DD got a Sky outfit and somehow managed to persuade DP to wear Sky's helmet.

I know have a very hilarious photo of DP which I look at to remind myself why I love him when he's being a complete pain!!

My little ones remember where I put things! But saves my day the best by being them after a hard day at work

I have no idea how it happened, but my husband locked us in the house when he left for work leaving my keys on the bin outside my kitchen door. My daughter was 3 at the time and I explained to her what had happened and that I was trusting her to go outside and bring the keys to me. She was brilliant, I watched her through the living/ sitting room and kitchen windows as she walked around the perimeter of the house to retrieve the keys. She came straight back to the living room window so I could open the kitchen door. I only did it because I know how mature and sensible she is as we'd have been locked in all day and someone could have pinched my car!

Our little one has stopped me from walking away from my phone in shops and out and about on 2 or 3 occasions! 😂

GetKnitted · 14/10/2017 23:52

They were born and saved me from myself!

Ds aged 3 saves the day every time there's a spider or daddy long legs! He grabs them for me and takes them outside.
I haven't made it clear to him I don't like them, I think he's just noticed his dad doing it for me and comes to my rescue when dad's at work.

I also agree with pp about the boy/girl stuff. Ds has pants, socks, tshirts, bag, lunch boxes, water bottles etc and can never get anything with all the characters on, Skye or Everest (or both) are missing from anything aimed towards boys. So if he wants anything with them on it ends up being just them two on it and it's pink, frilly, sparkly etc. Just put all the characters on everything. Still do pink and frilly things if you feel the need, but put them all on, and the things you do aimed for boys can have Skye and Everest on too! Or better yet just have a whole range, suitable for all children! Hard wearing, good quality, all characters on them.

I am allergic to stings since a child and after I got stung by a wasp gardening he ran like lightning and grabbed my epipen before I got too woozy, it is really hard to judge how severe my reaction would have got but he was certainly quicker than I would have been!

When I moved out of the marital home earlier this year, my ex was being a dick. He'd agreed to have our dd aged 4 until around 2pm to give me time to move in, get the removals van unloaded and just a bit sorted. Instead he declared he needed to put his new tv together and completely left me wrangling an excited and completely emotional child. She ended up coming straight with me, and I was panicking with doors open everywhere, furniture being lugged around and complete chaos around me, with only one friend too help.
Instead of clinging to me and needing to be under my feet. She played in the new garden and once the removals van was gone, I went upstairs and she was putting her toys in her cupboard "to be a big girl and help mummy".
It was an emotional day for me, the bloody washer wouldn't plumb in, we couldn't get the tv working and all day she kept coming and asking what she could do to help.
She made what was a tough day, so much easier by just giving cuddles, and doing all the little jobs I asked her. Star

my daughter massively saved the day buy holding on to her brother's feet whilst I pulled the car over while he was trying to jump out of a moving car (he is autistic and had a very bad day). she is fantastic! (so is he)

lovemyflipflops · 15/10/2017 10:09

One of my sons favourite playsets is his Paw Patrol Launch 'n Roll Lookout Tower, we have hours of fun with this. Reading this post about the sea patroller reminded me of when my son saved the day at the beach this summer when I lost my wedding ring on the beach whilst building sandcastles, I really thought it had gone forever. He got his sand sieve and spade out, and dug and sieved the area we were playing, and miraculously it was found, I could not have been prouder of how hard he tried, he had a £10 reward, which is spent on Paw Patrol Walkie Talkies for him and his friend.

Stargirl82 · 15/10/2017 10:14

My 2 boys save the day when I get home from work. Hearing them shout 'mumma' when I walk in the door reminds me that no matter how much of a bad day I'm having those 2 little faces improve the day!

devito92 · 15/10/2017 12:00

my DS was watching the para olympics and said the olympics is good but this is much more important

mo3733 · 15/10/2017 14:43

my daughter has saved me having to go to a dreaded family party by having a school concert on the same night

sophiefx · 15/10/2017 17:48

My child hasn't ever physically saved the day. She has however, saved my day. When my days just getting worse and worse, all I've got to do is see her smile and it brings myself back to reality. She's my world and will always save my day!

sweetdiversion1 · 15/10/2017 18:30

DD2 seems to have photographic memory of some sort. My mum had lost her favourite bangle and we had searched everywhere for it. DD2 kept saying she saw it at Granda's tree but we thought she was just rambling. Sure enough though I was out in the garden one day and saw the bangle myself sitting right beside 'granda's tree'. My mum as over the moon to get it back.

allsorts4444 · 15/10/2017 18:46

My 18 month old son saves me everyday when I get home from work and he gives me the biggest smile and hugs :)

Cookiesandcake · 15/10/2017 19:00

My little boy is 17 months and saved the day for himself today. He's really poorly at the moment and it's a struggle to get fluids in him. I've tried every container for drinks and he wouldn't drink out of them. He found his paw patrol cup looked at it, said "marshall" for the first time, and then drank 2 full cups of water from it.

maisiesnan · 15/10/2017 19:46

My little granddaughter was with me when my legs gave way and I fell in my bedroom. She was only 4 but she found my phone and stayed with me while help came, my little Florence Nightingale held my hand and kept telling me "it's all going to be fine nanan"

Ikea1234 · 15/10/2017 19:56

My son has saved the day on more than one occasion by giving me a hug, kiss and an 'I love you mum' when I have had an awful day. He instinctively knows when I need a pick me up.......

towser44 · 15/10/2017 19:59

Our DD found someones car keys on holiday so they could actually leave the campsite and go home!
