GoGo squeeZ® knows how tricky it can be to get your DCs to eat healthily, so they would love to know the fun/smart ways you use to sneak fruit and yogurt into their diet. Maybe your trick is to make a bright-coloured smoothie, packed full of goodness. Do you make fresh sorbet or animal-shaped ice lollies? Or are your cakes stuffed with fruit instead? Whatever your hack, GoGo squeeZ ® can’t wait to read about it!

Here’s what GoGo squeeZ ® has to say: “With so many unhealthy snacks tempting our kids, it can be increasingly hard to get good food in them between meal times or on-the-go. Here at GoGo squeeZ®, we’ve made something to help. Introducing the new fruit snacks (made from 100% fruit) and yogurt snacks (source of calcium & vitamin D) that kids LOVE! With no artificial anything, no refrigeration needed and a built-in straw, they are the perfect squeezy snack for kids on-the-go, at school, or at home. Tasty, fun and easy - no nasties, no worries! Try it, love it!

We do healthy snacks in our household. So lots of bananas, apples and carrots always sliced up into bite size amounts.

And at least two vegetables served with lunch / tea.

A milkshake and a bit of reverse psychology - show them a few different fruit options, but tell them they can only pick 1 or 2, putting them 'in charge' (or rather letting them think that they are) of what they're having to eat and drink often works wonders.

Fruit isn't much of an issue, but often vegetables can be - until we discovered the spiraliser! Eldest loves using it and they'll actually eat raw when it's cut that way.
Yoghurt - I don't worry about. They drink milk

Tons of blended veg (carrots, celery, onion etc) in bolognese and I tend to make cakes with fruit/veg in too.

We've also tried making our own pizza and using lots of vegetables as topping -with varying success!

We sprinkle dried fruit on top of cereals

We got into juicing recently.
Kids love picking a range of fruit and veg to use.
Beetroot is great because it makes the juice a vibrant red. And you can use more ‘unpoular’ (green) veg that gets disguised!

We make smoothies and slushies out of fruit. I think getting them to invent their drinks by making their own fruit combinations takes away the notion that I'm trying to get them to be healthy and it's all about the fun!

Well firstly I would never try and hide fruit and veg to get my child or anyone else to eat it. It’s just not going to help them learn that there are some things they will like.

Smoothies always go down a treat in our house or spaghetti veg is a great new trend

My LO loves yoghurt but can be picky about veg. We make lots of courgette chocolate cake too which is delicious.

I’m lucky that my boys love fruit and yoghurt - I do have to sneak extra veg into their food tho by adding grated carrots and lentils to pasta sauce and then blending 😊

My DCs love fruit and veg so I don't have any problems. We still try to make interesting things with them and try new flavours and recipes.

My soup maker is fab for this. I use it at least 4 times a week and they love taking soup for lunch at school.

Mine arrived a few days ago, and the fruit ones are a huge hit with the kids (especially the mango). They're a bit suspicious of the yoghurt ones not being in the fridge, so haven't tried those yet.

I like that it's just fruit, and while I'd prefer they ate fruit whole for the fibre etc, these are convenient for packed lunches and for my 6yo who is missing two front teeth at the moment, and so can't bite into whole apples.

I also like how the top has 'wings' which make it easy to open, though my 6yo did manage to hold too tight in the wrong place and squirt out some of the puréed apple. But that's a hazard of this type of container.

My one complaint is that I dislike throwing away so much packaging, and as far as I can tell it's not recyclable (even though my council is quite good and will recycle tetrapaks, hard plastic, foil etc).

DD is very good with fruit, taking a good variety, but DS would prefer to eat bananas only. He will take raisins as a snack (chocolate raisins would be his favourite choice!). Also carrot/banana cakes/muffins. And of course smoothies. I also make Angel delight with puréed fresh strawberries. He will sometimes take apple crumble/pie. Sometimes a Bear Yo-yo.

Yoghurts are never a problem with my DC; although they prefer flavoured to plain. I’m not so keen on yoghurts with a lot of added sugar, which can be difficult to source.

Fruit kababs, something to dip fruit in like chocolate or caramel sauce.

Apart from the obvious smoothies, fruit crumbles and adding to muffins, I dip soft fruits in chocolate for lunchbox treats, freeze smoothies as lollies, frozen banana make lovely ice cream. Bananas can have chocolate buttons in and baked, we have caramelised all types of fruit. Banana pancakes, carrot cake and carrot cake pikelets all go down well in lunchboxes as well as various vegeatables in mini frittatas. I grate all kinds of veg in whichever meal I am making, courgette grated can be hidden even in mac n cheese. I also use cookie cutters to make cool shapes out of fruit and vegetables to encourage them. Can you tell my dc are fussy eaters ?!? Also we name them things, carrot sticks are called 'power up sticks', cucumber sticks are 'turtle power' and cherry tomatoes are ' ninja nuggets' ... to appeal to my ds. I slalom blatantly lie and inform them that Gareth Bale's favourite food is broccoli and that spinach is a source of 'fairy dust'

DD1 loves yogurt and some fruit, DD2 eats anything. If I want DD1 to try a new fruit I'll offer it to her much admired older cousin at the same time..

We have lots and lots of vegetables so do not miss fruit but use yogurt as a base for may dishes and dips.

Yoghurt frozen in ice cube mould with chopped up fruits for mini lollies

Lots of fruit mixed into porridge. Veg is trickier but soup always seems to work here.

Smoothies. Fruit salad (somehow always better if it's chopped up). And freezing those tubey yogurts... Magic ice lollies!

I try and give them veg I know they like in its full form so they get used to eating it normally. So peas / sweetcorn / carrots / fruit all get eaten easily and it is just normal that every meal comes with two / three vegetables. For things they are less keen on I chop them small and slowly increase the size so they start eating it. I point out the flavour hasn't changed so their argument against eating it is flawed. I do make vegetable sticks from mash and leftover veg, I then bake them in the oven and serve with a protein and good old ketchup!
