GoGo squeeZ® knows how tricky it can be to get your DCs to eat healthily, so they would love to know the fun/smart ways you use to sneak fruit and yogurt into their diet. Maybe your trick is to make a bright-coloured smoothie, packed full of goodness. Do you make fresh sorbet or animal-shaped ice lollies? Or are your cakes stuffed with fruit instead? Whatever your hack, GoGo squeeZ ® can’t wait to read about it!

Here’s what GoGo squeeZ ® has to say: “With so many unhealthy snacks tempting our kids, it can be increasingly hard to get good food in them between meal times or on-the-go. Here at GoGo squeeZ®, we’ve made something to help. Introducing the new fruit snacks (made from 100% fruit) and yogurt snacks (source of calcium & vitamin D) that kids LOVE! With no artificial anything, no refrigeration needed and a built-in straw, they are the perfect squeezy snack for kids on-the-go, at school, or at home. Tasty, fun and easy - no nasties, no worries! Try it, love it!

I hide the veg as much as possible, like cauliflower in with the mash potato, but if I just cannot get them to eat their fruit and veg I usually tell them that the dog wants it. For some reason that always seems to work :D

Grated carrot is easy to hide in lots of dishes.

my kids love yogurt so that is not a problem - sometimes its fun to do something different with it like have yogurt on cereal or with nuts and seeds sprinkled on it.

For fruit and veg we recently introduced a reward chart where we aim for 9 a day! (that way I hope that we reach 5).

veg gets sneaked into pies and pureed into other meals if necessary! Ie. the veg they don't like - mushrooms, courgettes, celery.

Things that can be cut into sticks like carrots, cucumber, peppers - they often enjoy with dips - hummous or even YOGURT to dip into - double win-win situation there - getting veg and yog in them.

As an occasional treat we dip fruit in chocolate using a fondue set - its so much fun that the kids eat lots of fruit whilst doing it.

Smoothies are my children's favourite, so that's an easy one - I just wish they weren't so expensive!

We add yoghurt and dried fruit to granola for breakfast. Makes a change from milk.

By blending it up and sneaking it into meals! Works on the whole family. Wink

With regards to vegetables I have learned over the years that the blender is my friend, my son hates lumps but a quick blitz of veggies in a soup or a pasta sauce and he is more than happy to eat it. I also think with fruit that smoothies are a great way to get him eating 'fruit' and we also do big fruit salads and he seems to prefer to eat that rather than just one particular fruit at a time.

I freeze yoghurt tubes for my little one and she loves having one after her dinner. I think she prefers them frozen thinking it's icecream. She also likes to drink drinks in the tumbler cups with a straw so in the morning I like to blend some fruit up and make her a smoothie to drink in one of those, usually doesn't last long!

I don't have any issues getting yoghurt and fruit into my kids, I froze some of the yoghurt tubes recently and they went down really well, the eldest calls them yoghurt ice lollies.

Simply cutting it up increases the amount of fruit they will eat. Make's it much easier for them to choose it.

We're quite lucky, both kids love fruit and veg! But we do love smoothies in our house and use the nutribullet to make them all the time!

Yo get DDs eat their yogurts and fruits,i always freeze the pots and they'll have it as a sorbet.
Or do some smoothie and make ice lollies with.
They love dried fruits too like raisins, apples and apricots.
They always have fun in doing fruits kebabs with 5-6 different kind of fruits and sometimes it ended in their tummy before the job get done.
I've found that when fruits are cut in small pieces they'll be more keen to try and eat them rather than they are whole.

Add yoghurt to smoothies, thick and creamy and sweet and you can hide any amount of fruit and berries you want in there and they will gobble it up. Also make yoghurt traditional Greek style covered in honey and then you can add a pile of chopped nuts or berries to it for an amazing breakfast

I introduced fruit to my DC as part of the weaning process, adding the cooked pureed apple to the baby rice, to get his tastbuds 'acclimatised'
he had mashed 'nana' , and mango, which I freeze and make mango lollies in the summer. He went on to cut up apple, and grapes, and we regularly use the fruit which is overripe (nana's again) to make fruit smoothies, we love nanna and blueberry as it makes a lovely colour, and my DC loves his blue mouth (finds it hilarious) I love the fact I can give my DC good vitamin packed food at such an early age, it gives him the best start with helping with their natural immune system, and digestive system.

Smoothies all the way for us! Can get loads of veg or fuit in and the kids love them :)

Making things with veg has also worked with dinners, e.g. using peas to make a smiley face in the mashed potatoe

Mine likes fruit and yogurt, but visiting children have been very keen on 'icecream' - fruit yogurt frozen in an ice lolly mould - when they wouldn't touch it normally!

Cut up different types of fruit and place in yogurt in the morning. That way they can cover the fruit in their favourite yogurt!

Yoghurt lollies and we also make funny faces with fruit. They are fussy about fruit but that's the only way we get them to eat it.
