GoGo squeeZ® knows how tricky it can be to get your DCs to eat healthily, so they would love to know the fun/smart ways you use to sneak fruit and yogurt into their diet. Maybe your trick is to make a bright-coloured smoothie, packed full of goodness. Do you make fresh sorbet or animal-shaped ice lollies? Or are your cakes stuffed with fruit instead? Whatever your hack, GoGo squeeZ ® can’t wait to read about it!

Here’s what GoGo squeeZ ® has to say: “With so many unhealthy snacks tempting our kids, it can be increasingly hard to get good food in them between meal times or on-the-go. Here at GoGo squeeZ®, we’ve made something to help. Introducing the new fruit snacks (made from 100% fruit) and yogurt snacks (source of calcium & vitamin D) that kids LOVE! With no artificial anything, no refrigeration needed and a built-in straw, they are the perfect squeezy snack for kids on-the-go, at school, or at home. Tasty, fun and easy - no nasties, no worries! Try it, love it!

When she was much younger the blender was a godsend!
Now I get her to help make meals, she’s more than happy to add in fruit & veg if she’s doing it herself

We freeze fruits and make smoothies, they put the fruit in and we add spinach too, we add pineapple and mango for sweetness and banana to make it creamy the kids love it and we add fruits they wouldn't usually eat. We make them into lollies to as the youngest doesn't always drink smoothies. They love yoghurts though I sometimes freeze the pouches or tubes and they enjoy them that way.

My dc loves many fruits already but I make smoothies to make it easy for her to consume more and to incllude different types that she wouldn't normally choose herself

We grow a lot of fruit/veg and being involved in this and picking their own fruit and veg really helps.

I make fruit puree with our apples and pears and we have this with a crunchy oat topping for pudding or breakfast with yogurt.

I chop fruit in cubes and let them eat it as a snack.

I am pretty lucky because they like fruit, veg and yogurt so I don't really have to be sneaky. They love home made bircher muesli with grated apple, orange juice and yogurt soaked overnight.

I make a giant, simple tomato sauce which I freeze in portions for later use on pizza, spag bol etc. The children love making their own pizzas and top with lots of veg and cheese.

I make a lot of soups including vegetarian minestrone with little pasta letters in it which they love.

My son loves fruit and yogurt so it's not hard to get him to eat those. Vegetables on the other hand...

Be honest with them always. And eat it yourself as well.

The Collective do a great kids range which my great niece loves. They do suckies which are great for the lunch box in a great range of flavours www.thecollectivedairy.com/the-collective-kids/ She loves fruit & veg so don't have any problems getting her to eat that but if you do you can always try freezing grapes & giving them like sweets

My son was always terrible at eating fruit. However when it came to smoothies he would drink them no end! So we invested in a nutribullet ...the best decision we ever made!
We also bought our own yogurt maker and my son was able to choose the fruit he did like to go in itanother good investment.

I sneak a cube of frozen spinach into most evening meals. As well as this they have smoothies and home-made lollies.
I would not touch dairy though - it has now been shown to be worse for us than good. No thanks. It's also horrible for the planet, and I am teaching my kids to tread lightly.

The way I encourage the kids (and myself to some extent) to eat more fruit and veg is to cook more with the family using them. Not only do you get to spend quality time with the kids (and entertain them when bored) but also they eat more fruit and veg if they've cooked it themselves

I chop the veg small enough for it to get diguised in stews, soups and casseroles :)

I have no problem with yoghurt - I do use the fruit pouch style things though

They already like fruit and yogurt so it's not a problem, we usually make smoothies to encourage them to have more fruit.

I blitz up frozen fruits with yoghurt and a bit of honey and then freeze it to make a kind of ice cream pudding. They love it

My best idea was to get a spiraliser - my daughter loves to make ''worms'' and then eat them!!

My eldest 2 boys are great for eating their fruit and veg, but my youngest is a different story altogether. He will eat a few fruits, but won't knowingly eat any vegetables so I finely chop up spinach and hide it under the tomato base on homemade pizzas, his cakes are stuffed full of courgette, and his smoothies are full of fruit and carrots. Oh and his favourite mummy's special soup out of the soup maker is pure vegetable, not that he would eat it if he knew!!

iut044 · 14/10/2017 12:42

By putting them in a sauce they have no problem eating them .

Pasta sauces are a life saver for us, it's so easy to make them with canned tomatoes as the base and you can also hide other veggies inside like mushrooms or even cubed pieces of courgette.
