Here’s the movie synopsis

“A dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 - Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity - embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

The film has an all-star voice cast including Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana. The movie features original music and songs performed by Sia, Diggs, Saldana, Chenoweth and Blunt

My Godson likes the TV series and his favourite character is Twlight sparkle He liked the cake bit best from the trailer. The trailer looks exciting but not sure if he will go to see it at the cinema

Mine hated it - but they are boys!

DD is into it but don't know if we will be going to see the movie and just wait for it on Sky...

My daughter loves this, which is great and she is now asking for all manner of things for Xmas. I do wonder though how longlasting it will be and will it replace the "Stock" favourites of Peppa etc....

Very popular in this household. Rainbow Dash is a favourite - not my cup of tea but then it is not for me but I will be taking her and a friend

Brooke is currently watching MLP on Nextflix she loves Twilight sparkle,
here fav part is the fireworks over the castle

My daughter loves my little pony and her favourite is rainbow dash.
She loved all the trailer and cannot wait to see the film!!!

My 7 year old loves Twilight Sparkle, I'm sure we will be going to the cinema to see this when we can, my 7 year old loves it but the 10 year old pretends to be to old (but watches it all)!!

My girl still loves My Little Pony although is starting to feel too grown up for it now that she is 10 so I don't think she will admit to want to see the film but think she would enjoy it. Her favourite is Rainbow Dash

My 6yo can not wait to watch!

I watched it with my Niece and we both loved it. Took me back to my youth when my daughter used have hundreds of them.

My daughter is 8 and she started drifting away from MLP towards other shows but when she saw the trailer for the movie she got straight back into it. We are going the cinema next weekend to see it. Her favourite is Applejack :)

My DS (!) is a MLP fan - we watched the trailer. He loved it! I think we'll be going to see it :)

My youngest is MLP mad ! she loves twilight sparkle and rainbow dash

My DD loved the trailer. Her favourite character is Spike, being a bit of a tomboy. She loved the bit with the cake. Looking forward to seeing the movie.

My 5 year old loves rainbow dash. She has seen the trailer and got excited to see It! To be honest we nornally wait until these films come up at cinema kids club as it's a massive saving. Taking all the fanily out to the cinema on normal prices is a pricey day!

Neither of my girls are horsey so I don't think the movie will appeal

my niece wants to see it but its overly excited my cousin on the other hand cannot wait aad we already know when we are going! her favourite is twilight sparkle

DD loves Pinkie Pie. Her favourite toys (amongst the many she has) are her ponies. She is very excited about seeing the film!

Yes my daughter is the biggest fan and loves Twilight sparkle. She is also mermaid mad so that part of the trailer was exciting for her!

Yes!!!!

I have a son, and he would not be the biggest fan of this type of film but my niece has already made me promise to take her during the half-term holidays when we look after her whilst her mum works, she loves anything to do with the toys and I just wish I had kept some of mine from donkeys years ago when they first came out.

DD (9) watched the trailer with me and summed it up with one word - "NO"! Not what you want to hear, but the young lady has decided!
