Here’s the movie synopsis

“A dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 - Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity - embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

The film has an all-star voice cast including Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana. The movie features original music and songs performed by Sia, Diggs, Saldana, Chenoweth and Blunt

I have a little boy so not for him. But his female cousins will adore.
I grew up loving MLP and love how its been revamped to be current

Now I really want to see it! It looks fresh and funny! My daughter was absolutely obsessed with my little pony when she was younger I'm sure she would love to watch it still! She likes the funny sidekick jokes the best in the trailer! It looks brilliant

Love it - retro charm for the parents and good fun for the kids.

It's great to see a new generation getting to enjoy MLP, it was a favourite of mine when I was small. I especially like the music in the trailer.

My daughter is a big My Little Pony fan, she loves all of the ponies but her favourites are RainbowDash and Rarity. We are going to watch the film at the cinema :)

watched the trailer with my grandaughter she loved it she now wants a pony in her cake i told her this might be a bit hard for nanny to sort but will take her to watch the film

My 7 year old son Ronan loves My Little Pony. He just think that they are cool superheroes!! I loved the trailer too, it was a real throwback for me as i used to play with my little pony toys when i was a girl and had the bedding set too!!!

My little girl is only 3 but she absolutely adores My Little Pony. She's not normally the biggest fan of the cinema as it involves being quiet for too long but she's just said "When can we go and see it mummy?". She loves Twilight Sparkle!

My little Princess is 13 now and still loves My Little Ponies x

My Niece loves Mlp and Rainbow dash especially, she loved the trailer and is waiting for it to come out on cinema, i have 3 boys who have no interested in mlp..but I had them as a little girl 35 years ago, wish I had kept mine for her now

My daughter (nearly 4) squealed with delight watching the trailer :). That's one half-term activity sorted then.

My little boy said that 'My Little Pony' is too girly but then he got sucked in to the trailer and really enjoyed it so he would probably enjoy the film too. The animation is amazing and the dialogue is surprisingly witty.

My daughter is too old but my niece is very excited to see it. Twilight sparkle is her favourite. Xx

I've never got this pony thing frankly. DD did have a couple when she was younger but never seemed overly interested either but there seem to be proper characters these days and it is easier to relate to, so I'm guessing that is why it is more popular. Small niece is besotted, has loads of the toys plus t-shirts, lunchboxes, you name it and is excited as anything over the film which they're planning on watching over half term.

My girls watched the trailer last week and it is definitively on the list for an outing to the cinema this half term, It always amazes me how they remember all the ponies names and which one is the baddie and how the castle is going to be saved!! They all have favourites but the one I hear most about from my 6 year old is Twilight Sparkle,

my youngest loves my little pony, her favourite is pinkie pie, they will probably go and see the film, she thought the trailer was exciting and is now asking when the film is one

Probably too young to be a fan yet. However as me & my sibling grew up with MLP I think our kids will too.

I love the trailer. It took me back to my childhood when I had a My Little Pony of my own!

My daughter is still young yet to have a favourite character but she does sit and watch it! I myself, loved the trailer!

My 5 year old is a massive MLP fan so we can't wait to watch this film!! We've seen the trailer a couple of times and it looks fab. Twilight Sparkle is definitely our fav xx

DD (4) loves my little pony and can’t wait to see this film. Her favourite is Twilight Sparkle and her favourite part of the trailer is where Spike turns into a puffer fish.

We plan on watching the new movie this half-term, my 9 year old daughter is a huge fan and my 6 year old son enjoys watching the My Little Pony TV Series with his sister too :) They loved the trailer and my daughter is really looking forward to watching the movie now. Her favourite character is Rainbow Dash, she has lots of My Little Pony toys and DVDs and Rainbow Dash has always been her favourite. She loved the part at the end where the cake exploded everywhere !

My children are boys so weren't to fussed on the trailer but being a my little pony fan as a child I can honestly say wow. How much it has improved and so colourful and sparkly what's not to like for a little girl I would love to see this

Both my kids are huge MLP fans as they watch it all the time on Netflix.
My daughter’s favourite is Rarity.
They love the bit in the trailer where they turn into merhorses.
We went to see the film the first day it was out and they loved it!

Hannah and Matthew - twins 4yrs thought it was GREAT! Hannah giggled a lot commenting silly Spike! Matthew wants to watch it over and over and over! Definately a winner in my house!
