We love Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. They all look really cute in this movie! Love the colours and the animation.

We loved the trailer, with the perfect mix of cute and funny mixed in with a dash of DANGER!!!!! Ahhhhhh Oohhhhhh. My kids loved the bit when it went "I love pie!" and now keep saying that.

We would definitely see this at the cinema!!!

My DC do want to see it. They don't know the characters but they have seen the trailer a few times when we've seen other movies in the theatre.

I showed them the trailer again and they've asked if we're going to see it today. Apparently they love MLP and can't wait.

Showed this to my little girl (4) earlier. Her favourite character is rainbow dash and she's a big MLP fan. She liked the trailer and her favourite part was unsurprisingly rainbow dash flying through the sky to do whatever he does. Personally I felt the trailer was a bit disjointed and had too many short clips without explaining the story. We will most likely see the movie to keep her happy!

My son and daughter really enjoy the My Little Pony cartoons so I'm looking forward to having a film that they both equally want to see this half term - and judging from this trailer I want to see it too! WIN WIN.

My DD is VERY excited to watch the film. Her favourite character is pinkie pie.
She liked the trailer especially the bit where pinky pie is falling and suddenly starts laughing she made me watch that bit several times.
We will definitely be watching the film partly because my daughter loves it but mainly because it's one of the only kids films that I'm actually excited about too.

My DDs are big fans. Both like twilight sparkle. DD1 (7) very keen to watch the film and totally excited after watching the trailer! Planning to see it but need to work out whether to take DD2 (2) or not as she may not sit through it!

~ Are your children My Little Pony fans? If so, who’s their favourite character and what’s their favourite scene from the trailer?

Yes! Dd is a HUGE fan of MLP, anf has been for around 7 years. Jer favourite character is Derpy Hooves.
Our favourite part of the trailer is the scene flying through the dark cloyds to avenge the bad guys.

~ What did you think of the trailer?

Liked it; it shows that the film has lots of action and various subplots so something for all ages.

~ Do you think your children will see the movie?

DD and her friend are very excited to go to see this when it comes out on 20th!

Watched it with my girls aged 6 and 9.

Younger daughter's favourite character is Pinkypie, elder daughter's is Applejack.

Younger said the trailer was 'awesome and outstanding', elder said 'amazing and addictive'.

I think we will be going to see the film, yes ... Grin

My DSS is 6 and loves cartoons, he has an older half sister so has watched a fair amount of My Little Pony!! His favourite is Pinkie Pie. Apparently his favourite part of the trailer is... and I quote "Their eyes. Their eyes are sparkly. Can I have a sparkly pony?" Hmm Grin

I think the trailer was very cute an appealing to children, seemed uplifting and a good general message of friendship.

Without any doubt, we will be watching this movie... multiple times that I am sure of.

Dd age 5 loves pinkie pie. She has been so excited about this film and even more so now. I didn't realise Sia was in it. We will be going to see it during the school holidays.

We didn't like it to be honest. They've made the trailer look too fantasy like and nowhere near realistic thus providing false hope. Voice acting is okay but could be better.

I remember seeing a my little pony film when I was little... or was it care bears? Anyway, this looks much like that and the sort of thing my little girl will love and I will tolerate!!

Discord is the favourite character in our house, but he doesn't seem to be in it. That said, DD loves Fluttershy and her connection to wildlife. In the trailer, the DC liked when Spike puffed up.

The trailer looks weird to me, distractingly so because I am trying to work out why it doesn't look like the "normal" series. Different/too much shadowing or something? The plot didn't really grab any of us, or at least what we could make out of it. It wasn't very clear what was going on.

So... probably wait for it to come on Netflix or something. If it had more obvious cliffhanger/plot interest, maybe we'd go to the cinema.

My 6 year old DD LOVES my little pony! Her favourite character is princess twilight sparkle, and her favourite scene from the trailer was when the pirate said "lets show these little ponies how it's done!"

She thought the trailer was "good - great actually", and we will DEFINITELY go and see the movie together this half term!

Watched with both DDs - they loved the music. They don’t really have any favourites, probably rainbow dash though because she the nicest coloured one! I personally can’t abide Applejacks twang (it reminds me of a character from ‘orange is the new black’!)

We will try to see he movie at half term but otherwise will wait for it to land on Netflix etc. Cinema is so expensive these days sadly.

My dds (6 and 4) love my little pony, favourite characters being Cadence, Rarity and Fluttershy. Dd6 was excited to see the mermaids (merponies)?, dd4 was a little scared at the beginning (she is a complete wimp) but found Pinkie shooting and Twilight in the cake hilarious. We only usually go to the cinema and watch movies for juniors but will go and see this for full price as the kids are huge MLP fans.

They (age 6 and 7) are not huge fans but actually enjoyed watching this. I am tempted to take them. They know Rainbow Dash but that is probably it currently.
