We saw the trailer at the cinema and my middle daughter is keen to see it (she's the most girly out of the three of them!). Her favourite character is Rainbow Dash, she liked the music in the trailer and it made her want to see the film to find out what happens.

fazkin · 19/10/2017 14:03

My 7 year old is also crazy about My little pony and her favourite is also Twilight Sparkle! We will be watching the movie!

srobbo71 · 19/10/2017 14:26

I watched with my little boy who's 9 last night, he is autistic and does not mince his words! "Why mum! NO! Why are we watching this?" He did pause to watch when the big balloon burst as he has a fascination with balloons though :O My grandaughter however loves My Little Pony so I'm sure she wil love the movie as she has everything MLP related :)

liane1987 · 19/10/2017 16:45

My little girl is obsessed, her fav at the minute is Rainbow Dash :-)

Were both excited to see the movie and plan to go over half term....shes excited to see Sia in it :-) will be the perfect afternoon cinema date with her and her nursery friends x

cluckyhen · 19/10/2017 17:09

My kids aren't but my gr8 niece is! I look forward to watching it with her - from the sofa though as she would run us ragged in a cinema

rocketriffs · 19/10/2017 19:18

My little boy isn't impressed at all. All he has to say about it is, "Its for girls!!"
We wont be going to see it. Ninjago Lego Movie wins this half term.

tabby55 · 19/10/2017 19:29

My little girl literally can't wait for me to take her to see this. She's seen the trailer (752 billion times) and love Twilight Sparkle the most. As well as being Team MLP, she's equally Team Mermaid, so seeing her favourite ponies as mermaids has got her soooooo excited!

Personally, I think it looks quite cute so I'm sure the family will love it.

Marg2k8 · 19/10/2017 19:34

My DD is older now, but she did enjoy playing with My Little Pony toys when she was younger.

bex552 · 19/10/2017 20:05

My daughter is 4 and just started to get into My Little Pony. She loves twilight sparkle! She hasn't been to the cinema yet so we will probably look forward to watching it on dvd! The trailer looks great! #MyLittlePonyMovie

Blondie1982 · 19/10/2017 20:24

We're looking forward to watching this, think our favourite character will be Tempest Shadow

PhilTB54 · 19/10/2017 20:57

They love My Little Pony, their favourite character is Pinky Pie , their favourite bit . When the ponies were mermaids.

spottypjs · 19/10/2017 21:09

Rainbow dash is a favourite - the trailer looks alrite but I'm not convinced I could sit through it haha!

sweir1 · 19/10/2017 21:19

My little girls love this

hibbertheather · 19/10/2017 21:34

My 4 year old stepson is a HUGE fan, all of his presents for his birthday were mlp themed. We haven't taken him to the cinema before so we're taking him to see this next weekend as his first cinema trip, he's itching to see it! His favourite is Rainbow Dash, but he loves Princess Luna too

sarahw2 · 19/10/2017 21:37

I've loved My Little Pony since I was a child myself, and luckily my kids do too! We can't wait to see the movie!

katieskatie82 · 19/10/2017 21:50

my little girl cant wait to see it. The trailer looks really good!

VickyRsuperstar · 19/10/2017 22:17

Yes, 4 of my girls are that age when they love watching My Little Pony on the TV. They watched the trailer and got very excited and all want to go and see it at the cinema now. It's quite expensive for 4 of them and me, so we will have to find a good offer or maybe see it outside London when we visit Nanna in the half term! They like Rainbow Dash best of all.

buckley1983 · 19/10/2017 22:31

My son is a closet fan - he says Applejack is his favourite! He would definitely go & see it - but says he wants to go with Mummy, not Daddy & we aren't allowed to tell him!
He liked the look of the pirate ship & wanted to know more about it! I love that Sia appears as a My Little Pony & that she's done the soundtrack!

A secret treat for LO & a bit of nostalgia for Mummy this one! :)

robyn297 · 19/10/2017 22:49

My daughter only discovered My Little Pony a few weeks ago and is obsessed! She loves Twinkle Sparkle, I showed her the trailer and she said she liked the fireworks best.

Its a good trailer, can't wait to take Kate to see it.

baconbap · 19/10/2017 22:59

no, it's a bit too girly apparently

pinkspideruk · 19/10/2017 23:06

H adores my little pony - we saw the tour bus when it cam to cardiff and she got to try out the new toys from the movie, get her face painted and do some activities. We will be going to see the movie but it will be when its been out for a week or 2 at the child friendly viewing as she doesnt like to sit still

Megansmumsie · 19/10/2017 23:29

She's not a huge My Little Pony's fan which is funny because i was a huge fan as a kid, she likes them fine enough but has never really gone out of her way to request My little Pony items to play with.. until this year so i guess the movie is doing what they hoped it would- attracting the imagination of a new generation that hasn't discovered them yet.

It's weird because when i think of My Little Pony i'm still thinking of the one back in the 80's and i really miss seeing that on screen but everything changes with the times and the new My Little Pony does look that bad- it looks different but it's kept the values and that's what i really watched it for. I know that's what she'll enjoy too.

My DD thought the trailer looked good and she's keen to watch it. She likes that there are some bad guys in it to give it a bit of bite and to make her playing (with the ponys she has requested for Christmas) a bit more interesting. From what she's watched before her favourite Pony is Applejack.

Cailin7 · 19/10/2017 23:55

Love My Little Pony toys. We thought the trailer looks good but probably won't go to see it in the cinema.

Pmliu · 20/10/2017 00:11

My little ones are big My Little ponies fans, their favourite is Rainbow Dash

cathryn1 · 20/10/2017 07:26

My daughter loves the look of this movie - the ponies popping out of the cake - we went to specsavers and they were advertising it there too #MyLittlePonyMovie
