Ahead of the release - this Oct Half Term - of the brand new My Little Pony movie, the team behind the movie would love to know what you think about the film!

Check out the trailer with your child and share your feedback below.

Here’s the movie synopsis

“A dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 - Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity - embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

The film has an all-star voice cast including Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana. The movie features original music and songs performed by Sia, Diggs, Saldana, Chenoweth and Blunt

Dd is just getting into to through friends, she said she likes rainbow dash the best and loved it when they all had a big squidgy together!
Trailer is good, think we will probably go for a treat!

My 4 year old DD loved it (we'll be off to the cinema in half term then).

Yes, big fan. Pinky Pie is her favourite and it's nice to see PP getting. Some good 'scenes' like when she was throwing things.
~ What did you think of the trailer? Loved it.
~ Do you think your children will see the movie? Yes. The baby won't have a choice, he'll just have to come with us!

DD 5 really liked the trailer, her favourite scene was when they were turned into sea ponies - we have some original toys from the 80's which were kept in the family!

We'll be sure to go and see it and she especially likes Applejack and Rainbow dash #MyLittlePonyMovie

My DD (2) has some MLP toys and enjoys brushing them but has never seen the cartoon. She loved the trailer. She asked to see it again. And again. And then I said no because 3 times is plenty. (Sorry!) She liked the music and the bright colours and the ponies. I'd like to take her to see it but not sure whether it would be too scary for a 2 year old?

Are your children My Little Pony fans? If so, who’s their favourite character and what’s their favourite scene from the trailer? DD huge My Little Pony fan. Twilight Sparkle favourite character. Favourite scene is when one of the baddies says 'oh pie, I love pie'.

What did you think of the trailer? I liked the trailer, know that my dd will love it, and is super excited.

Do you think your children will see the movie? DD will definitely see the movie.

DD loves MLP and is hoping to see it (we will).
We watched the trailer and her favourite part was the mermaid ponies.
Her favourite pony is Twilight Sparkle.

Big MLP fan here (DD5). We've already read the tempest prequel book and will be at the cinema over half term.

Apparently her favourite character is Tempest, but normally it's princess Luna.

Her favourite bit is the sea ponies bit.

I think it looks pretty good but not sure why it's cinema worthy vs the films on Netflix. And a bit worried it'll be too scary for my DD. But not enough not to take her.

Dd1 loves MLP and dd2 is just getting into them. Our favourite pony is Rainbow Dash.

The girls liked the trailer as it showed a lot of new characters they've never seen as well as their favourites. I had several requests to watch it again and then kept being asked "who's that mummy". I've had to google the answers.

We will definitely be going to watch this he film. Especially as mummy quite like MLP too and remembers the toys she had in the 80s

My DD is a fan - her favourites are Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. She liked the bit in the trailer when 'the evil guy says I love magic and friendship and bleugh'.
DD thought the trailer was really funny. And she definitely wants to see the movie.
I thought the trailer was really confusing Confused but assume it's not really aimed at me Smile. I'm hoping for something to keep me entertained too though, please...

My DD is a very big MLP fan and so are her best friends. We are planning to go and see the movie for her birthday treat followed by a MLP themed sleepover! We have been talking about the movie release since we saw an advert ages ago. Her favourite character is Twilight Sparkle and her favourite bit in the trailer is when Spike looks likes a pufferfish. She laughed a lot when watching it. Can't wait for the movie to come out!

4 yo DD is a massive MLP fan. Her favourites are Twilight sparkle Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie (impossible to narrow it down any further apparently). She loved the bit where Spike was a puffer fish (I liked ‘Brian, noooo!’)

We liked it, she’s now even more excited about the movie, especially the idea of a ‘new baddy’
~ Do you think your children will see the movie?
Definitely, she’s counting the days

My daughter is almost 7 and is a huge My Little Pony fan - she's been excited about this movie coming out for months! We saw the trailer while watching another movie at the cinema a few weeks ago and we both thought it looked fantastic. We'll definitely be going to see this! Her favourite character, randomly, is Lyra Heartstrings, a fairly minor character... I'm not sure why she likes her so much!

DD loved the mermaids and when Spike turned to a puffer fish. Her favourite is Rainbow Dash and she has watched all the MLP shows in Netflix. I'll definitely take her to see this.

My DD is 5 and loves My Little Pony. Her favorite is Pinkie Pie, but sometimes she likes Fluttershy.

I think the animation for the movie looks strange. The ponies are all round and more childish looking, or something.

We are all looking forward to watching the movie together. We are all big fans of MLP!

DD loved the clip. Rainbow Dash is the favourite in this household. At only two years old she won’t be seeing it in the cinema though.

My dd is a fairy recent MLP fan, she's just started watching friendship is magic on Netflix.
Fluttershy is her favourite. She thinks this looks good and wants to go and see it (thanks very much!) - her favourite bit of the clip is when spike gets turned into a fish.

DD2 (8) is a MLP fan, her favourite character is Twillight Sparkle. She thinks the best bit of the trailer is ' when the bad guy comes in)

She loved the trailer and is really keen to see the film. Not sure if we will take her though.

I wasn't allowed to watch the trailer with her, as soon as I put it on she ran off with my tablet to watch by herself.

My daughter loves My Little Pony. She likes Rainbowdash best and says that she loves the whole trailer.

I enjoyed the trailer, it looked fun.

I will take my daughter to see it.

My daughter is a ponies in general fan not particularly MLP.
The trailer was a glimpse into my future, once dd catches on that MLP films exist I think I'll be watch alot of them.
We won't be going to the cinema but I expect we will watch it one day in the future.

Dd loves mlp. And is so excited to see the film. She already has listened to the soundtrack 100+ times and knows all the songs word for word. She is only 4 but both her and I are massive pony fans
