We know many Mumsnetters swear by their Lidl finds - both everyday items and more unusual ones.

We’d love for you to share the gems you’ve discovered there with the rest of MN. Maybe you’re crazy about their chocolate, love their laundry liquid or prize their peppers? Perhaps you stumbled upon an item once that you now always pop in the basket. We all know what treasures are to be found on the middle aisle of wonder - what’s the best thing you’ve ever picked up there?

Please post them on this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get £100 worth of Lidl vouchers (note the winner will be sent 4 x £25 vouchers, one voucher can be redeemed per transaction).

Thanks and good luck

I absolutely love the Marzipan chocolate logs they do at Christmas time! Any hope of curbing my sweet tooth goes right out the window!

RHOLST39 · 08/09/2017 22:19

The soft goats cheese!! ❤️

Bsummers · 08/09/2017 22:19

Where do I start! I love Lidl, I always pick up their leaflet to check the deals they have during the weekends, you can get half price items!

I've had delicious freshly squeezed orange juice for 49p! When its on offer I stock up, Laundry detergent for £1.49! I'm always trying to save money and Lidl beats so many of the other supermarkets on prices.

I love their verison of oreos (neos?), I love their deals on fresh fruit and veg, their bakery is to die for! It's hard to walk past it without buying something!

maisiesnan · 08/09/2017 22:25

There's absolutely loads of things I love from Lidl from the roast chicken, cereals, ham, fresh fruit and veg, the cheeses are lovely with a good range to choose from. Their shampoo and conditioner are really good. I can go on and on.Local is a fantastic place to do the shopping

Pandoraslastchance · 08/09/2017 22:31

Our local lidls have stopped doing their pack of 5 frikkadellans. I'm missing them terribly.

But their fresh bakery is a firm favourite.

lhlee62 · 08/09/2017 23:09

I love their nappies and wipes, they were cheap, but worked really well! I also love their muesli which is way better than some of the more expensive brands

Gauisacat · 08/09/2017 23:10

Everything from the bakery section is amazing but especially the cheese twists - so good.

twinklenic · 08/09/2017 23:26

we love the fresh bakery items, especially the individual breads with feta cheese and tomato. I also love to look on the middle aisle and check out the special offers

Namethecat · 08/09/2017 23:26

The naked nuts !!! ( Thats what we call them anyway ) The bags of pecans, walnuts, brazils and mixed nuts. No salt,no sugar - just naked.

Sid98 · 08/09/2017 23:26

Tissues are the best thing i have gotten

Holliewantstobehot · 08/09/2017 23:38

The low GI bread is heavenly I go to Lidl specially for that. Also love the multipack crisps, especially cheese and onion, the flavour is amazing.

cherylann2461 · 09/09/2017 00:42

The bakery section just ruins my diet! And how can anyone beat the price of that Prosecco?

kkhimji · 09/09/2017 02:41

crisps in multipacks are a steal!

doleritedinosaur · 09/09/2017 02:53

Where to begin?
The vegetable pizza in the bakery, actually most of the bakery.
Crispy chocolate
The living lettuce - so nice,
Sweet chilli nuts in a crispy shell,
Their "Aussie" shampoo - cien

Mummychoochoo3 · 09/09/2017 03:01

Tour jours nappies. Fantastic! !! Great quality and fab price

hannahbjm · 09/09/2017 08:19

I love Lidl breaded mozzarella they do in freezer, really tasty and loads of flavour unlike other supermarkets where really rubbery!

AR2012 · 09/09/2017 10:08

the salmon slices were great. However shrinkflation is taking hold ive noticed the price going up or wieght being reduced. or both.

JemIsMyNameNooneElseIsTheSame · 09/09/2017 10:10

Goat's cheese and tomato foccacia from the bakery. Yum!

annoyedofnorwich · 09/09/2017 10:31

I used to love the aioli... but my local Lidl seem to have stopped selling it- I always look, hopefully, when the rest of that range comes in... but no!
Goats cheese foccacia!
Pickled asparagus spears!
The tins of chocolate drops for hot chocolate!

PhuntSox · 09/09/2017 10:36

I live the black olives, the children love the donuts!

madwomanacrosstheroad · 09/09/2017 10:41

The children love the patatas bravas during Spanish week and the spinach and cheese puffs during Greek week. Also the schupfnudeln, feta cheese and fresh pesto.
I think their vegetable and fruit are really good quality.
When kids were small we used the nappies and wipes. I found them better than the well known brands as all my children had alergies and got reactions to pampers.

SKBelle · 09/09/2017 11:06

Their cat food is great! I have a really fussy cat and their wet food is the only one she will eat :)

cherry49 · 09/09/2017 11:36

I love Lidl flowers - beautiful and so low-priced. Morello Cherry Sparkling Fruit Crush is delicious. I always buy at least a couple of bottles. Lidl strawberries last ages in my fridge and some of the most delicious I've ever tasted. I buy several Cien shower gels each time I visit Lidl. Priced at 33p with the most gorgeous fragrances, I wouldn't be without them. Oh, and their cakes are to die for!

Theimpossiblegirl · 09/09/2017 11:50

I love the theme weeks and the random aisle of joy.
I go in for fruit, veg, pasta and breakfast cereals and leave with cheap champagne and a stepladder!

kittykomp · 09/09/2017 12:06
