I pop some used tea bags in the fridge and then relax with them on my eyes for about 20 mins. Also remove make up before I go to bed and splash eyes with cold water morning and night. Eye drops are also good if you get dry eye.

No coffee after lunchtime.

I have to get up very early for work so go to bed early and turn the light off - no phone.

Best thing is lovely clean sheets.

Espresso for breakfast!

Don't drink wine. Dammit.

I'm good about water, screens, sleeping with head slightly elevated, cool room, etc. But as I hurtle towards 40, I can't get away with a night on the booze. And it shows.

Lots of water and a proper nights sleep.

I sleep with the curtains and blinds open, so that I am woken by natural light in the morning. Sure beats being woken by the DC jumping on my head!

Exercise well in the day, no electronics in the bedroom, no alcohol

Remove eye makeup with a cream remover and gently massage moisturiser into skin around and over lids, relax with a book or magazine in a quiet, warm-ish bedroom for half an hour before lights out, then first thing sweep a water based eye cleanser over the lids to remove last traces of makeup.....works every time for me!

A good nights sleep!

To try and get this:

I drink decaf tea most of the time, but definitely from 3pm onwards.

I try to get to bed early a few times a week - helps negate/reduce the effect of having to see to DC in the night/being woken up early.

I also try to eat well and drink lots of water, exercise blah blah.

Failing all that - concealer and mascara Smile

I think less alcohol and coffee always helps. Drinking water before bed, making sure you use a decent moisturiser before you go to sleep and having a silk or high thread count pillow cover helps too. What makes me happy is freshly washed sheets. I wake up feeling fresher too. Nothing beats freshly washed sheets.

I do a mini massage around the eye area before whilst watching TV Or reading. Press the pressure points, massage along eyebrow area, down the nose, under and around the eye area.

If anyone wants to know how to do this just search on YouTube. It is the ONE thing that has made a difference to how my eyes look when I wake up!

I am also religious about skin care, using products with sycolic acid to remove make up and layering serum/oil, eye cream and moisturisers.

What I should do is drink less alcohol and get plenty of hours sleep. The sleep is really important and makes a huge difference to how you look when you wake up.
What I actually do is clean all make up off. Wear a cooling eye mask that has been in the fridge and put lavender on my pillow. I love lavender and use it for the dcs too.

I'm trying so hard not to laugh at the visions of icecubes and spoons in peoples eyes atop their silk pillowcases sipping on herbal tea slathered in moisturiser in a freezing cold room.Grin

Theres only one thing that puts a twinkle in my eye and a bit of casual alcoholism before hand certainly helps WinkWine

Maybe I'll regret that as I age!

Make sure you drink plenty of water and get as much sleep as possible. Also cleanse, tone and moisturise as part of your morning and evening routine.

I keep a small travel sized spray bottle of water and cotton wool next to the bed. I always spray the cotton wool and wipe my face, neck and eye area right before bed and once in the morning.

Try and have a nap if you get disrupted sleep at night.
Drink water.
I've heard sugar is ageing too, but need to look into that more.

A good cleansing, night cream routine will help to have a bright-eyed morning. I definitely do not have any caffeine drink after evening meal, no alcohol either! Green tea will be a good alternative!

Drinking lots of water, following a low carb diet and then a weekend at a spa did it for me
I've never looked so good again unfortunately!

Making sure all my make up is off. Big glass of water before bed and one as soon as I wake up.

Using a few drops of Face oil, any brand, rose hip, coconut etc gently around the eye area means I really do wake up looking as if I've had a full 8 hours sleep rather than the usual 3-4!

A run in the morning always make my eyes appear brighter. Must be to do with blood circulation I guess.

Good skin is basically down to 3 things:
Genetics
Lifestyle choices
good skincare
So I have never smoked, I don't really drink, stay out of the sun and use an spf face cream, I use liz earle skin care and oil at night
I'm nearly 44 but am told I look 10 years younger than that Smile

Double cleanse in the evening, lots of water through the day and dab eyes with cotton wool soaked in cold water first thing in the morning.
