We can’t always wake up looking as bright eyed as we’d like. From the children keeping you awake, to staying up late to watch your favourite show or checking your Facebook (or Mumsnet!) account, it can all take a toll on us come morning.

Here’s what Liz Earle say “We are proud to announce that our secret for visibly brighter eyes, NEW Superskin™ Eye Cream, has arrived. This luxuriously hydrating new innovation features a powerful botanical blend which helps to visibly lift and firm, while also reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Used regularly, eyes appear brighter, refreshed and wide awake. Available now"! Check out the new Superskin™ eyecream here.

So, what are your top tips for waking up looking bright eyed? Do you leave the iPad, laptops and phones downstairs when you go to bed? Maybe you have a no-caffeine policy after dinner? Or maybe it’s as simple as getting a good night’s sleep. Whatever secret you turn to to help you wake up feeling fresh, Liz Earle wants to know it.

Everyone who posts on the thread with their tips will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky Mumsnetter will win the complete Liz Earle Superskin™ range, worth £305*. The range includes:

Have real trouble switching off so have Pukka dream tea half an hour before bed then some yoga stretches to help brain switch off. Then use This Works sleep plus spray on my pillow. Works for me: had been getting only 4 or 5 hours a night, but now usually at least 7 and feel much better for it.

strawberrisc · 10/04/2016 08:50

I take off all my make-up and then I make a nest of pillows. I always have a glass of water by the bed and when I can't sleep I go try to remember the names of all of Gail and Steve from Coronation Street's husbands and wives!

ricola1 · 10/04/2016 08:50

Sleep and more sleep

Take off all traces of make-up, avoid alcohol and get plenty of sleep ...

lianebelfast · 10/04/2016 09:09

Give up sugar, your blood sugar levels will remain constant and prevent you from waking up during the night. Plus its amazing for your skin!

Nettie17 · 10/04/2016 09:48

Always read before I go to sleep and it takes my mind off worrying about trivial things that might keep me awake

maryandbuzz1 · 10/04/2016 10:02

Going to bed at a decent time would be my first point.
Good cleaning and mousturising is essential.
Having the sun streaming through the window!

flozza42 · 10/04/2016 10:45

Milky drink before bed always helps me sleep and get my full right hours. Also make sure you take your make up off every night and moisture or your skin will suffer!

walk1992 · 10/04/2016 10:48

In my case eye drops before sleep. No rubbing and no crying.

baby890 · 10/04/2016 11:49

Drink plenty of water, always remove your make-up before bed and make sure you get enough sleep!

Pipkinhartley · 10/04/2016 11:52

Get a couple of cotton wool pads, soak in witch hazel and put them in the freezer for ten minutes then pop on your eyes for five minutes, soothes the whole eye area and brightens the whites

cluckyhen · 10/04/2016 12:10

Make sure you get enough sleep to be rested and stay hydrated! I always make sure I have a good moisturiser for fine lines too
