We have made it through the wintery months, but we’re not free from drizzly days just yet. It really is a struggle to feel good in the wind and rain, so nice ‘n easy would love you to share the things that you do to make yourself feel at your best.

Here’s what nice ‘n easy have to say: “The beginning of the year is often gloomy, Christmas is long gone and the days are short and dark. But with Spring just around the corner, and sun just a promise away, it’s time to get out and give yourself a lighter, sunkissed look. ‘As we have more sunny days our skin tone warms up and therefore your hair colour needs to adjust to complement it. Going one or two shades lighter softens the darker tones we have often used during the winter. It’s all about having a natural look, as if your hair has been kissed by the Spring sunshine’ says our colour expert colour expert Jonathan Long”

So, is a hot bath with some posh candles just what you need to perk yourself up in the dark winter months? Perhaps you like to learn a new skill or get involved in an evening class? Do you brighten yourself up by changing your hair colour, or by starting a new skin routine to give yourself a glow? Whatever it is that you do to boost your confidence, let nice ‘n easy know.

Please add your comment or tip below and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop gift voucher.

Black jeans and heeled boots always boost my body confidence

tabbaz123 · 06/03/2016 15:08

I say "you are never too old to be young" - Get out there and do something!! I must admit painting my toe nails and getting rid of socks are the best thing to perk me on the way to spring

Marg2k8 · 06/03/2016 15:57

Just tell yourself that you are confident and you will be.

Anderson8 · 06/03/2016 16:22

Make an effort to put some make up on every day, always perks me up

Erinaz · 06/03/2016 16:25

Go to the gym walk or swim one hour in the day to relieve any stress , nice hot bath spray on a nice perfume after then sort out your hair an makeup put on your best dress then get your girls together and hit the town good club for a serious dance session. Don't forget some hair swinging moments good tip wear a trendy hair band if you didn't get to dye your roots X

cluckyhen · 06/03/2016 17:52

I do enjoy a lovely relaxing bath but I also do one thing a day for me - even if it's just having a cuppa in the quiet - makes me feel so much better (as does heading to the gym)

julieef · 06/03/2016 17:53

I always try and make sure my hair is tidy, and when I go out always put on a little make up and perfume

Lauzipop1 · 06/03/2016 17:59

Just having a bit of me time can help confidence. Running round all day leaves me feeling haggard and messy. But time to yourself to do a bit of pampering and relaxation does wonders for the confidence.

mickaul232 · 06/03/2016 18:43

When you start feeling unsure of yourself remember: we were all born with confidence, and we can all get it back if we learn to silence the thoughts that threaten it.

finleypop · 06/03/2016 18:53

Stop telling yourself that you are not good enough & learn to believe it! Hold your head up high & love yourself

AngelwingsPetlamb · 06/03/2016 18:58

I think it's always lovely to have a new bright lipstick, and a change of colour too. A slight change of wardrobe too, maybe skirts with tights and boots rather than trousers, and a lovely bright scarf too.

sarah861421 · 06/03/2016 19:05

make a to do list and be pleased with yourself for completing it

Bsummers · 06/03/2016 19:06

Get friends and family to write down what they think you're strengths are and what they like about you. Type it up in bullet point form and keep a copy with you to read when you need a pick me up.

I deal with low self esteem and confidence and found that it really helps, you might not see yourself how others see you, but it gives you a boost.

rachelmi · 06/03/2016 19:47

A little makeup, clean teeth and a regular hair trim

mave · 06/03/2016 20:38

Exercise and eat well, it makes you feel mentally and physically strong!

JoJoBaldwin · 06/03/2016 20:47

Getting some decent exercise really has a knock-on effect which helps self-esteem and confidence.

mo3733 · 06/03/2016 20:54

nomatter how tired you feel put some makeup on it makes such a difference to how you feel

vcoxee · 06/03/2016 21:03

Think positive and do things that you enjoy as much as you can! It might be just reading a book and have a little lie-in. Being confident starts where your mind is and how you feel mentally. Relax your mind!

BellaWella86 · 06/03/2016 22:06

A pamper evening. Nails painted, legs shaved, etc!

kacky · 06/03/2016 22:08

Dress nicely, Keep smiling and people will notice you. That alone will make your day

Ikea1234 · 06/03/2016 22:11

Stand tall, flash a smile and get out there! You're amazing!

BellaVida · 06/03/2016 22:45

Set yourself a challenge- you will feel great when you achieve it and it will really boost your confidence. Stepping outside your comfort zone every now and again is so exhilarating! Re-style yourself, run a 5k for charity, learn a new skill.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 07/03/2016 02:21

Stop worrying/don't start worry about what other people think. I feel confident when I push myself to try something new or challenging. I also feel good about each stage of achievement in "make hay while the sunshine" sort of way. I like to set big goals with manageable steps.

I find the bath and candles guff a bit patronising tbh.

callkiki · 07/03/2016 02:22

Instead of thinking negatively, think positive thoughts about yourself. It is easier to pick apart what you don't like about yourself so try instead to come up with things you do like about yourself

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 07/03/2016 02:23

Actually the whole op sounds like fodder for Man Who Has It All. Look him up on Twitter or Facebook if you like funny yet depressing memes.
