We have made it through the wintery months, but we’re not free from drizzly days just yet. It really is a struggle to feel good in the wind and rain, so nice ‘n easy would love you to share the things that you do to make yourself feel at your best.

Here’s what nice ‘n easy have to say: “The beginning of the year is often gloomy, Christmas is long gone and the days are short and dark. But with Spring just around the corner, and sun just a promise away, it’s time to get out and give yourself a lighter, sunkissed look. ‘As we have more sunny days our skin tone warms up and therefore your hair colour needs to adjust to complement it. Going one or two shades lighter softens the darker tones we have often used during the winter. It’s all about having a natural look, as if your hair has been kissed by the Spring sunshine’ says our colour expert colour expert Jonathan Long”

So, is a hot bath with some posh candles just what you need to perk yourself up in the dark winter months? Perhaps you like to learn a new skill or get involved in an evening class? Do you brighten yourself up by changing your hair colour, or by starting a new skin routine to give yourself a glow? Whatever it is that you do to boost your confidence, let nice ‘n easy know.

Please add your comment or tip below and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop gift voucher.

I suffer from psoriasis which knocks my confidence loads, I try to do mini pamper nights each week like doing my nails and face masks this helps boost my confidence, also knowing my hubby and son love me unconditionally helps me feel more comfortable

I keep a picture of myself looking at my best near the mirror as a reminder to feel confident on wobbly days!

I had a friend who was a life coach. I asked her how she was SO confident and she explained that any time she felt wobbly she imagined she was Madonna and everyone around her were the supporting cast in her film. Everyone was a co-star but she was the star of the show. This sounds insufferable but really does work. Channel someone you admire and think how would Angelina/Jen/The Queen walk into this room? It's another way of faking it until you make it :)

Do the best you can do with what has been provided, smile in the mirror and then dance to a fav song.
Go out and enjoy yourself.

For me, it's simple. Smile. Most people smile back and you instantly feel better.

Sometimes it's just about grabbing out some matching underwear so you know that under all your clothes you're looking great, it doesn't matter if you're wearing your slouchy clothes on top, it makes me feel so much better!

I try to make myself more confident by focusing on the good and less on the bad. Too often I think we focus on our negative points, we need to be kind on ourselves and realise that everyone has their hangups - so its better to focus on the positive. After all no-one is perfect!

Definitely regular hair cuts. I just don't want to step outside the door if my haircut is overdue. Having my eyelashes dyed as well gives me a lift, just wished they lasted longer.
