We have made it through the wintery months, but we’re not free from drizzly days just yet. It really is a struggle to feel good in the wind and rain, so nice ‘n easy would love you to share the things that you do to make yourself feel at your best.

Here’s what nice ‘n easy have to say: “The beginning of the year is often gloomy, Christmas is long gone and the days are short and dark. But with Spring just around the corner, and sun just a promise away, it’s time to get out and give yourself a lighter, sunkissed look. ‘As we have more sunny days our skin tone warms up and therefore your hair colour needs to adjust to complement it. Going one or two shades lighter softens the darker tones we have often used during the winter. It’s all about having a natural look, as if your hair has been kissed by the Spring sunshine’ says our colour expert colour expert Jonathan Long”

So, is a hot bath with some posh candles just what you need to perk yourself up in the dark winter months? Perhaps you like to learn a new skill or get involved in an evening class? Do you brighten yourself up by changing your hair colour, or by starting a new skin routine to give yourself a glow? Whatever it is that you do to boost your confidence, let nice ‘n easy know.

Please add your comment or tip below and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop gift voucher.

I make an effort with myself to make myself feel good and that always makes me feel more confident if i am happy with me - whether thats styling my hair really nice one day or even having a pyjamas day another day - just doing you and loving yourself, although sounds corny, is a top way to gain confidence xx

I don't feel confident if my hair, teeth and eyebrows don't look at their best so I try to keep up the maintenance on those in particular. And of course it's important to smell nice too.

Have a gel manicure :)

meggysar · 21/03/2016 13:34

A new bottle of perfume always helps to make me feel more confident strange but true!

mumpetuk1 · 21/03/2016 14:23

danikagrace · 21/03/2016 17:15

use the mantra "I love, myself" when meditating, even if you don't believe it you will begin to eventually!!

piggypoo · 21/03/2016 17:16

I always do something to treat myself, such as put on a lovely bright lipstick, it always lifts my mood and makes me feel great. I also wear bright electric blue mascara, and that makes me feel able to take on the world! :)

Self talk ... always talk to myself as I would others definitely helps me!

janemphoto · 21/03/2016 18:41

I started a good skin routine and it has certainly made a difference, it makes me feel more confident when I look in the mirror.

Pimmpom · 21/03/2016 19:06

Definitely regular hair cuts. I just don't want to step outside the door if my haircut is overdue. Having my eyelashes dyed as well gives me a lift, just wished they lasted longer.

Nettie17 · 21/03/2016 19:33

Always hold your head up high, others think you are confident and it makes you feel confident

Snapespeare · 21/03/2016 19:35

Be kind to yourself. Build your resilience and don't let other people,s expectations define you.

baconbap · 21/03/2016 20:57

a splash of perfume

Kangakate · 21/03/2016 21:10

Make sure you make time for yourself in the morning, shower, moisturisers and do your hair to make sure you leave the house feeling good and confident

ellie17 · 21/03/2016 21:50

wearing a bold colour can make me feel more vibrant and confident and also remembering that no one is judging me the way i am sometimes judging myself so its about being kind to yourself

Inyosi · 21/03/2016 21:51

I try to make myself more confident by focusing on the good and less on the bad. Too often I think we focus on our negative points, we need to be kind on ourselves and realise that everyone has their hangups - so its better to focus on the positive. After all no-one is perfect!

Beepow · 21/03/2016 23:15

Sometimes it's just about grabbing out some matching underwear so you know that under all your clothes you're looking great, it doesn't matter if you're wearing your slouchy clothes on top, it makes me feel so much better!

Themilseys · 21/03/2016 23:31

For me, it's simple. Smile. Most people smile back and you instantly feel better.

vincenta · 22/03/2016 07:19

Drinking more water and eating lighter meals with lots of greens help me to feel and look better:)

jazzitup · 22/03/2016 08:41

Do the best you can do with what has been provided, smile in the mirror and then dance to a fav song.
Go out and enjoy yourself.

Natasha7 · 22/03/2016 08:51

Visit a hairdresser and treat yourself to a manicure.
