We have made it through the wintery months, but we’re not free from drizzly days just yet. It really is a struggle to feel good in the wind and rain, so nice ‘n easy would love you to share the things that you do to make yourself feel at your best.

Here’s what nice ‘n easy have to say: “The beginning of the year is often gloomy, Christmas is long gone and the days are short and dark. But with Spring just around the corner, and sun just a promise away, it’s time to get out and give yourself a lighter, sunkissed look. ‘As we have more sunny days our skin tone warms up and therefore your hair colour needs to adjust to complement it. Going one or two shades lighter softens the darker tones we have often used during the winter. It’s all about having a natural look, as if your hair has been kissed by the Spring sunshine’ says our colour expert colour expert Jonathan Long”

So, is a hot bath with some posh candles just what you need to perk yourself up in the dark winter months? Perhaps you like to learn a new skill or get involved in an evening class? Do you brighten yourself up by changing your hair colour, or by starting a new skin routine to give yourself a glow? Whatever it is that you do to boost your confidence, let nice ‘n easy know.

Please add your comment or tip below and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop gift voucher.

Getting out for some fresh air makes me feel more awake. Lipstick makes me feel more confident. (Light) self tan makes me look half decent. Chatting with friends sorts my head out.

I love it when I've just had my hair cut & I can enjoy that clean & new feel. Painting my nails makes me feel good too

I always worry about my weight - a friend once told me "if you can't tone it, tan it!" So a good fake tan always makes me feel good about myself!

What I wear dictates how I feel, if I look good I always feel better, also I love getting my nails manicured.

Stand tall.. I know it works because I try it often. When I remind myself to stand tall and straight, I feel better about myself. I imagine that a rope is pulling the top of my head toward the sky, and the rest of my body straightens accordingly. As an aside, people who stand tall and confident are more attractive :-)

I have to have a shower first thing in the morning to make me feel semi human. With two children under 3 its the small things that make all the difference! If I get time, I de-fuzz and maybe paint my nails. At the moment thats the best I can do!

Everyone says I have a nice smile so I spread it around by living by the philosophy 'if you see someone without a smile give them yours'. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing someone who looked really down smiling back at me

Just think of all the highly-paid celebrities and how little talent they have, and feel confident about what you can do

I tell myself that the only opinions that count are my own and those of the people I love.
(Nice underwear that only I know i'm wearing doesn't hurt either.)

Get out and walk or run and soak in the fresh air. The endorphins from your exercise will kick in making you feel great and oozing confidence. That's my nice and easy tip.

Allowing myself an extra 5 minutes in the morning to blow dry my properly always makes me feel better all day long. I have pretty long thick hair and having it bouncy and swishing around is an instant confidence boost for me :)

For me, a new gorgeous lipstick or eyeshadow always gets me excited to wear it and feel a little bit dressy. Also, after an intense workout at the gym I always feel really, really good about myself!

Facing a fear. I love hair and make-up, but no curly-blow or perfectly applied cat-eyeliner fills me with more confidence and get-up-and-go than tackling things I've been worrying about. Whether it's financial or a mountain of laundry that's been piling up. It relieves stress, and when you're less stressed your beauty shines...

I think you should reinvent yourself occasionally with a new hair style or clothes trend of your choosing. Accessorize a bit more and wear brighter colours!

If I am feeling low and book myself in at the hairdressers. A chat, coffee, colour and chop always make me feel so much better and beaming with confidence!

Just reminding myself that I'm not as fat/ugly/boring etc etc as I think. Tell yourself positive things instead and remind yourself of all the good things you have done!
