Thirty-five years since his first appearance, the Milk Tray Man is back and is being re-imagined for the 21st century. Cadbury are keen to hear from Mumsnetters about who they think best represents the modern Milk Tray Man (or woman!).

Cadbury say “The Milk Tray man is back and he’ll be daring but caring, thoughtful yet thrill-seeking - and he’ll go to any lengths to deliver a box of Milk Tray to a loved one.”

What traits do you think the modern Milk Tray Man or woman should have, and who do you think best embodies these qualities? Your favourite actor, dressed to thrill in a smart black polo neck and grappling hooks Grin. Your best friend, who’s helped you through some tough times? Maybe your partner has all the key qualities?

Whomever you think represents the modern Milk Tray Man, Cadbury would love to hear about it.

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 Experience Day Gift Card for you and your loved one(s).*

Find out more about the search for the new Milk Tray man here :

You can make your own nomination over here and don't forget to tell us on this thread too.

Thanks

I'm going for a woman and to me it would have to be Jessica Ennis, she could literally do anything!

I think the Milk Tray man needs to be completely different from the past.

I can see someone who may not necessarily be a suit, slick city kinda guy, and who his partner would say is not overly thoughtful.

I don't think it should be done in a cheesy romantic way but with humour instead. Maybe start with a woman infuriated by him, only to be surprised at the end with a nice gesture and a box of Milk tray.

That, or have your typical Milk tray man turn up on a womans doorstep and her telling him " no thanks love i've bought my own" before closing the door on him Smile

My 5 year old son (or does he not count as a man yet...?). He is the most thoughtful, kind, considerate person I know, with just a hint of mischievousness and a twinkle in his eye he would be the perfect Milk Tray man .... in fact, for their next advert they could use a young gentleman delivering chocolates to his teacher, of course he'd have to do it all James Bond like so that his friends didn't see him! It would show that Milk Tray is a gift for all kinds of people in your life and can be given by anyone.
