Mini moment of happiness with 3yo DD yesterday - playing a game of cards with faces with different expressions, I was asking her what the expression was and what might make someone feel that way. Held up face - she said "excited" - I said "what do you think made her excited?" - she said "her mummy came home"GrinSmileGrinSmileGrin

My mini moment of happiness is seeing the first flake of snow every summer and feeling the first heat of the summer sun on my face.

GatoradeMeBitch · 01/02/2015 21:52

My son has autism and is usually in his own little world. But occasionally he will present me with a card that references something we'd spoken about, like 'Have a good first day at work Mummy!' and that always makes me very happy.

Rustedroses · 01/02/2015 21:53

My mini moment is when my little boy comes up to me and tells me "love you mummy!". Nothing can make my day better after that.

Daariina · 01/02/2015 22:24

Got a hand made card from my 7 year old cousin saying I love you. It was so sweet!

Princessxo · 01/02/2015 22:29

Mini moment of happiness was being able to see my mum smiling when I got her a gift.

SahraO · 01/02/2015 22:31

Seeing my grandfather for the first time in my life!

ddpunk182 · 01/02/2015 23:38

Being able to tie my girl's hair into a tiny little ponytail! Too cute.

VickyRsuperstar · 02/02/2015 03:14

I love it when one of my kids come up to me unprompted and says "I love you" and gives me a big hug and a kiss for no particular reason. It really makes my day :-)

spanglisher · 02/02/2015 03:17

a bedtime hug from my youngest son or turning on the tv for MY choice of viewing because everyone else is in bed

foreverton · 02/02/2015 04:57

Knowing that I'm very lucky to have two wonderful children after seeing so many people I know struggle with fertility.
Also when I've made a lovely dinner and the kids actually eat it!

cathyov · 02/02/2015 08:16

Mini moments of happiness are those lovely things that only your children can say or do; tell you you are beautiful, you are the best in the world or pick you a bunch of flowers - even they are dandelions!

Doubtfuldaphne · 02/02/2015 08:38

My dd says something which is so cute, I feel all happy inside when she says it.
It's..."mummy, I feel like I love you"!
She says it's all the time Grin
I bring hapiness to my loved ones by cooking their favourite Food. Noting beats the homely smell of something delicious to eat, especially when it's cold outside!

As DS1 and DS2 are now at university, family times with us all together are now much rarer. Yesterday was a mini-moment of happiness (well actually a full day of it.) DS1 travelled to DS2's uni to visit him for the weekend and yesterday DH, myself, DS3 and my Mum drove over to meet them both and take them out for lunch. We spent a few hours happily chatting in the pub and went for a leisurely drive around the area. It was heaven :)

reenu · 02/02/2015 10:06

My mini moment of happiness..when I do something for my parents and see their face light up with proud, even it is a simple thing like cooking some thing special for them!

piggypoo · 02/02/2015 10:07

When my niece asks me if she can have a go on the "Trumpolene"! :)

TiggersAngel7774 · 02/02/2015 10:41

My son has ASD so social interaction doesnt come naturally and he struggles in school with this the most.
However 1 to 1 he copes a lot better and does make friends and this always gives me mini moments of happiness

embabes7 · 02/02/2015 11:14

When y 18 month old son gives me a real proper cuddle! Every day - it still makes me a right mush bucket!

09babisham · 02/02/2015 11:54

My mini moment of happiness is when my twin boys come into my bedroom in a morning and wake me up with a kiss and a cuddle a great way to start the day x

Chocolateteacake · 02/02/2015 11:58

I mayve said this before... I was given ambrosia cream rice in hospital after giving birth. Its always been a favourite of mine since childhood (grandna used to gey it for us for tea) and it was the best thing I had ever eaten that day!
