To celebrate the new Annie Movie - At Cinemas Now, the team behind the film would love to hear all about your doggy sidekick.

The team behind Annie the Movie says "If you've seen the film, you'll know Annie forms a strong attachment with her dog, Sandy. They always say a dog is a man's best friend, and he certainly is Annie's!"

We've got a lovely old girl called Trixie :)

We don't have a dog because we live in a flat. My little girl is intrigued by them though when we go out and always waves (!) at passing dogs. We have bought her a plush toy dog - frugal Dougal who is definitely her sidekick!

Alfie! I can't add photos at the moment. I was scared of dogs as a child. Alfie has taught me so much love and companionship. Love him forever!

I don't have a dog but... my in-laws' Jack Russell absolutely loves me! I love taking her on beach walk (in winter where we're allowed)

I've had a few doggy sidekicks through the years. Mandy was my first sidekick - a lovely big Alsation, a lovely, friendly dog; followed by Sam and Brandy (two lovely rough collies).

When they passed to the rainbow bridge, didn't fancy having any more sidekicks, however Barney won our hearts, and he's definitely my little sidekick now.

Only poochy pals I've seen lately are the piles of defrosting poo on our country walk pick it up people, even if your dog didn't do it.

This is my sidekick Barry the Retired greyhound - it's coming up for 2 years since we adopted him - he was in kennels over 12 months as he is big, black and male - the least easy to rehome. They say that dogs have a habit of finding someone who needs them and filling a gap they never knew was there - I have had a difficult couple of years with illness and a very difficult pregnancy. Barry is always there for me - normally on my bed next to me as in the pic! He will walk for miles or just toddle round with me if I can't walk far. He has a huge following on social media and through this I have met loads of new friends and we now meet up regularly with our retired hounds. He's great with my DS and we can't imagine life without him.

These are our two doggy sidekicks. The brown lab is Coco - she is beautiful but a bit dim,

The black dog is Mia - a rescue dog - labrador-pointer cross we think. As you can see, she thinks she is a lapdog! She definitely believes she is the No1 female in dh's life, and when I drop him at the station and come home without him, I get very disapproving looks - I am sure she thinks I am just very careless, and keep losing him!

This is my lovely little sheepdog - Casper. She follows me everywhere, even to work :)

Hoolie, who's been here three months but is already making a special niche for herself. Without going into detail, her first owners clearly didn't want her :( so she arrived with us confused, pretty unruly and extremely frightened of being alone. She's settled in brilliantly, and is shaping up to be the most wonderful little dog :)

This is our Presley - he is so naughty! He love chewing shoes and doing a runner across the field so I have to chase him!

My doggy sidekick is Coco, my one-year-old Jackapoo who is loopy, loyal and perfect.

This is our little westie beauty, with a smile on her face, in the frost.

My doggie side-kick is actually my cat Coco. He sees me off in the morning, welcomes me home when I return from home at night, and barely leaves my side when I'm at home. He likes to show me affection my nibbling my ears and head and is a total softie.

Max is my partner in crime, he was a gift as a puppy (Labrador & Red Setter cross) at 6 weeks old, we have been inseparable ever since. Its definitely a case of love me love my dog
