To celebrate the launch of the new Vodafone family price plan (Red+) and that this Christmas you can also enjoy a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies with Red 4G Vodafone want to know what your fail safe film is for travelling with children!

Vodafone say "We all know those long journeys with children, especially at christmas time when they are even more excited, can feel a bit endless. These days, technology makes this a bit easier! With a 3 month NOW TV Sky Movies Pass from Vodafone, you can select a film to help pass the time for children".

Vodafone has also launched a new plan, designed specifically for families. Red+ gives you one data allowance to share and you can even cap your kids’ data so they don't go over their limit. You'll get one simple bill for all devices, saving you money compared to individual plans, and you'll also get unlimited calls and texts.

The Vodafone Digital Parenting Guide can be found here: www.vodafone.co.uk/family

So whether your children climb over seats to catch yet another screening of Frozen, or have a secret sob to Toy Story 3, please share the film you can be quietly confident will give you some peace on the journey and keep the kids occupied.

Add your comment to this thread and you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £250 Hamleys voucher (can be used online and in the stores)

Please note your comments may be used by Vodafone or MN on Vodafone pages, social media or possibly elsewhere - please only add a comment if you're happy for it to be used.

Thanks and good luck

Our son can't watch films in the car as it unfortunately makes him car sick.

sidshane · 13/11/2014 17:58

Home Alone, they love it and so do I, and makes me feel squishy inside when they know the words too

andywedge · 13/11/2014 17:58

Despicable Me (1 or 2 (or both))

claireblaney123 · 13/11/2014 17:59

pazanne · 13/11/2014 18:07

We chat about things for a while then my daughter listens to her CDs

angiemary · 13/11/2014 18:07

That's got to be Harry Potter

pennwood · 13/11/2014 18:13

We do not watch films when travelling but any of the cartoons seem to go down well with very young children even the classics like Jungle Book

dayglo44 · 13/11/2014 18:18

Home Alone - The children find it hilarious.

Summergarden · 13/11/2014 18:18

The Snowman and the Snowdog. It's beautifully animated.

rodders470 · 13/11/2014 18:24

My daughter is currently too young to watch films in the car. But i'm pretty sure anything Disney would keep her busy when the time comes.

gaptoothuk · 13/11/2014 18:25

Home Alone 1 and 2! We all love it and laugh at the same jokes again and again!

feefeegabor · 13/11/2014 18:26

My daughter is mad on Harry Potter but if she gets bored of that, then a Christmassy movie like the Muppets Christmas Carol or Nativity.

QueenofallIsee · 13/11/2014 18:29

Nightmare before Xmas every single time! From the 16 yr old to the 7 yr old it is loved by them all

chrissieone · 13/11/2014 18:32

My son is obsessed with Minecraft so if the cries of "how many days till Christmas?" "Are we there yet?" "How many days till Christmas now?" get too much, I may let him play it on the tablet and get a question free Journey - well, for a little while anyway!

HelenSw4les · 13/11/2014 18:32

Our fail safe family video is Nightmare on Elm Street, no, only joking, it's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the whole family love it and sing along during the journey.

NannyPlumIsMyIdol · 13/11/2014 18:36

Home Alone is a definite favourite here (though we don't watch films in the car, as a pp said the window is free!). They find it hilarious then like to run around the house setting 'traps' and playing tricks on us Grin

RMonkton · 13/11/2014 18:40

Frozen at the moment

puczinix · 13/11/2014 18:41

Home Alone - it never fails.

nhopkins90 · 13/11/2014 18:41

Finding Nemo!

janeyf1 · 13/11/2014 18:46

Toy Story 3 always works

edoody · 13/11/2014 18:51

Dont watch films when travelling but if they did then Elf is a favourite!

21Catherine21 · 13/11/2014 18:52

One of the 'Ice age' movies every time (probably all of them, if a long journey) Tardis

rachheap2014 · 13/11/2014 19:04

We dont watch films when we are travelling but if it was my choice it would be Elf
